It's a great game, bu holy crap it wears on your left thumb. This is probably the best I can do without a fresh one.

Great game! The controls are fine as long as your controller is good. I think I may have worn out mine. Started going down when I didn't want to turn at all.

Come on Erizisto and Fluffy. I left plenty of time to beat my score!

Has anyone else had the high score reset on them? I had a 132k game, but when I started a new game so I could take my picture, the high score had reset to the default 10,000. I have no idea what happened.

Not so sure it's your controller. At those later levels,it gets so ridiculous. Great score! I'm not even going to try to beat that. On to Battletoads and my inevitable butt whooping.

This happened to me once.

I never turned off the console, it reset the high score to 10k.

I tried to get it to happen again. By doing the reset through the controller but it never happened.

The only thing that I can think of is that it counts as a continue even if you start from level 1 and that the score resets when you run out of continues. I'm not sure if that will even be a top ten score by the end of the night, but it's really aggravating since it would have bumped me above the logjam of scores in the 120s.

I had it happen a couple times too.  I started getting my camera ready so I could take the picture while the "Game Over" is scrolling just in case it did reset the score.

I lost my last life on stage 18, and the problem hadn't come up yet.  I continued on and after a few more continues, made it to level 31.  Didn't happen every time I passed by a spot I could go down, but it happened enough to make me quit at 31.  I wanted to see how many levels there are.  Only two repeats between 18 and 31!

Pretty much a participation score this week. Just a game I know I'm not tremendous at and many of you are!

There are 34. Doug told me earlier in the week after he beat it using continues I think the highest I've made it with continues is 18.

You won't get anymore competition from me. I'm done with this game. Plus last week I was introduced to a sweet psp emulator and am getting to play Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man X Maverick Hunter for the first time,so I may be posting participation scores for the next few weeks.

Playing on emulator must have something to do it with it guts. I played two games on the real thing and got 160k in my second run. While I missed a few turn and get what you guys mean, it was nothing that I couldn't put on my fault. Every time I knew I was little late when calling the turn.

Idk man,at first I figured it was the controller but every other game I've played recently works fine.

This is the first game I've played in the contests where I felt my score was capped due to something other than lack of skill.

I think it is the emulator. I had similar problems, but I just can't play on a keyboard. I am to out of practice.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

-
Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

Participation this week. I'm hoping to post a better score before time runs out, but I definitely didn't get to put the time into this one like I wanted. I love Pac-Man games!
