Well it's just that I grew up in the 1980s/90s so those sets have sentimental value (just as the 3rd-6th gens of video game consoles do)...and I love to try to collect all the mid-90s insert sets...the golden age of "insertmania"
That's the main reason to not just toss boxes of Donruss from the early 90s; never know when you'll find one of those inserts.
I did enjoy finding stuff like that back when I collected (I think 1992 was my favorite year for that; managed to find the cello packs of Fleer that had their not-so-limited insert and Topps packs that still had the contest cards you could win at by shining a flashlight through). But as an adult trying to justify moving all that stuff, meh.
