Love DK Jr. and Stinger. Wish I'd participated this year

keeping my fingers crossed that my cart shows up before the deadline. it shipped on monday but the tracking hasn't updated for a couple days either. no store in town has one, and no response to my WTB on craigslist. i've been practicing a little bit on the emulator, but trying to avoid it if i can. going to have to really grind if i want to place this weekend.

Mine didn't ship until Tuesday afternoon even though I bought it early Monday morning. Hopefully it shows up by Saturday, but I don't have my hopes up. I called every game store around Monday morning and none of them had a copy in stock. The worker at one of the bigger stores said that he couldn't even remember the last time they had one.

I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I can't believe I hadn't played this before.

From what I understand, the second loop adds more enemies and the third loop is a faster version of the second loop. I'm not sure if anything changes after that or not.

 

I don't know if I'm going to post a score before Sunday night, but I have been playing the hell out of this game. It's very satisfying to blast everything in sight after holding back last week in Rush'n Attack.

Updated my score to keep the party going

Anyone else having a problem where sometimes when you hit the bell, it doesn't change to a powerup like it should? They are supposed to turn into powerups in increments of 5 hits but on some bells, it takes more than 5 hits before it even turns blue. Also sometimes when I hit a bell, it will go down a power up level back to the speed up blue. Idk if I'm doing something wrong or what.

For example, the first bell on level 1. I hit it 16 times before it turned blue. And just now I turned a bell white and the next powerup it turned to was the speed up blue like my progress on the bell reset.

Does the power up chain you have going on a bell reset if you hit it up off screen or something?
Just now i had one go from blue to blue.

I'm trying to make sense of this.

It resets when u hit a second bell.
