I know it's too late for this, but it would be much better if the thread had some sort of topic or theme to follow. Even like the "Neverending NA Story" thread. At least that'd be entertaining to watch get to 5,000. That last thread was just an endless slog of nonsense purely in the name of raising the post count.

Speaking of random, there is a place in Atlanta that offers $2 mystery shots. Unless you know anything about shots, you will never know what you get as they don't even tell you.

Cheap mystery shots... now that I can get behind.

Do you ever feel like one of those people who never tried a product, tries it finally, loves it, and then shortly thereafter the company discontinues it? Story of my life...

I think it was McCain... they started selling a Bruschetta frozen pizza a few years back. It was an absolute godsend! Easily the most delicious frozen pizza I've ever had, AND it was vegetarian (for my wife). It was amazing, and I'd buy them weekly at the least. Then they just... disappeared from stores, all of them. I've not seen them since, and it's kinda depressing to think about it.

or when you've had the "usual" at a restaurant for years and they take it off the menu...RIP Wendy's Monterey Cheddar Chicken Sandwich and the Taco Bell Steak Baja Gordita combo...

I suggested doin a meme, gif or random pic till we hit 3,000 or whatever but it didnt catch on.

 

I personally view these threads as more of a catch-all "have a conversation" sort of thing. Like if someone feels like talking about pogs, without filling up the main forum with silly threads, here's your chance.
