Damn, you beat Metroid Fusion already. Hhmmm, I'm at work right now but I could probably knock out Metroid classic and Zero Mission in no time tonight.

Hey, for the FFI&II compilation, I assume you have to beat both games? I beat FFI, as I started playing it a week or so ago:

I've not done FFII yet though this year.

Well done beating FFI. Yes, FFII will also need to be beaten for it to count, though.

Count Metroid Zero Mission down. Dunno if I'll get around to Metroid tonight. I'm playing on my cell phone at the moment and it makes things a bitch.

Great work. That must have been a real feat doing that without physical controls.

Babar to the Rescue is done. I'll update the thread properly later.

It's a slightly odd game. The developers seem to have been aiming to make a game that is suitably easy for young children, but with the option to really learn the game and aim for high scores. The problem is that the driving levels are just horrible. The control is far too loose and it's a struggle to stay on course. It's a shame, as the scoring system is a good idea: it depletes slowly, encouraging you to keep collecting items in combos. In another game that might have been fun, but not this one.

We've made a slow but definite start to the year. I don't expect we'll get through the whole list of games in 2017, but I am hoping we can at least make a dent in the library.

I have completed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? 2nd Edition. I was lucky enough that the final question was one my wife knew without even thinking about.

Otherwise the game is pretty much identical to the first edition. Just a new question set.

I started up Super Mario Advance this morning, but am not sure what constitutes "complete" in this game. It has the original Mario Bros. arcade game, and Mario 2. Seems like an odd combo! Can you give me a guideline of what needs to be done to check it off the list?

Just complete Super Mario Bros 2. I dont think you need to do anything with the original Mario bros arcade game.

I beat Golden Sun, but I did use save states. It doesn't count, and I don't care  . When you can save anywhere I'm not losing sleep over it. I used them during the optional pirate boss too, since that was becoming an exercise in patience. Someone else can check that one off of the list this year.

Not sure if I'll try the Lost Age or not. I bought a GBA and Golden Sun new back in the day, and then by the time the Lost Age came out I had found better things to do. Maybe this will be the year to continue the story? I'm really not sure how I feel about multi-part games.

Anyways, GBA thoughts...

Every year for the past few years I've been doing play throughs of Doom and Doom II on Nightmare difficulty, and this year is no exception! Doom has been completed and I'll be starting on Doom II later tonight.

I beat MegaMan Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzer last night, started towards the end of February.

Battle Network has a lot of postgame content so if the condition for beating it is 100% (since I didn't see any conditions in OP); give me a week or so.

EDIT: 100%. Even went in and beat Falzer SP because it feels like the proper end to a 100% run.

It might be safe to say this thread isn't being looked after anymore, but hell with keeping an updated list.

Add MegaMan Battle Network 1 to the list from me, too. Not going to 100% that one because it's a grind of a game to begin with.

No pictures from me this time, but you can add Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Prophecy and Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance to my list of games beaten this year.

I finished Airforce Delta Storm, and that quite means something because apparently, almost nobody knows this game. No walkthroughs on the internet, neither written, nor video, and not even reviews, nothing. Personally i always loved this game as i grew up with it!
I recently uploaded a walkthrough of it, which is probably by far the biggest exposure that this game has receieved... has anybody else played or even heard about this game?

Just noticed the thread, figured I'd let you know to scratch off Final Fantasy V Advance. I just took it out the other night.

-------------------------

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."
