This story would have been a lot better if an actual collector found it and kept it instead of some reseller who couldn't give two shits about it other than the $$$ in their eyes.  That said, she should try to get the most money out of it if she's going to sell it, no potential buyer "deserves" to get a deal from this just because of the circumstances.

ill try my damnest to get it!

Honestly you should be begging / borrowing / stealing the, say, 10k to give to her.

This might be the best walk in you ever get and if you play your cards right it would be basically impossible not to make a lot of money on this.

Suprised it has nearly 1,000 (actually, now over 1,500) views already and constantly about 200+ people on the site reading this since it went live.  Also, mentioned the thread here as well.  Now if I can only track this person down and have them list it for no fees on GG.  I could get an auction like this tons of free press.

yeah if you're not trying to get this for 10k then you're basically pissing away profit.   This might be the best walk in you ever get.  Good luck!

I hope the guy who picked up that FFF AW doesn't see this. I can't imagine knowing I had a legit chance to pick this up and missing it.

^ I understand you may not have the funds, but this is where you beg/borrow/steal and if that doesn't work at least find a buyer and get a commission.

How come I can never find anything useful in my local Goodwill store? I haven't seen an NES game in several years, let along something worthwhile.

Can't believe that she got that at a Goodwill in the Charlotte area. Hard to find anything at most of the Goodwill's in the area or maybe I am just slacking too much. Love the store Wilder, been by several times.

lol I was thinking the same thing. Chances are though, if they donated it to Goodwill, it's not likely that they'll find out since they obviously don't pay attention to video games. I'm willing to bed it was a middleaged woman or elderly person who donated it and has not a care in the world what happens to it.

Probably too late already. I'm sure the picture traveled all around the internet. Some scumbags will use it.

Quite honestly, I think a nice mario or castlevania display would be more effective than a SE display.     99% of people will look at SE and not have a clue what it is.   You'll impress the hell out of the 1% that get it, but the 1% aren't going to pay the bills.    If he can't afford to keep it, his best move is to buy it and flip it because the lady's asking price seems quite reasonable.

Didn't the guy who posted recently with the FFF Athletic World CIB & all the other CIBs get it from the same Goodwill? Damn...

If that's the case, what's odd is the women only picked up the Stadium Events?
