I want to give the game a second shot, but not with the prices the way they are... But even so chances are high I will be buying Xenoblade Chronicles X.

You could also get the new 3DS version if you want to retry Xenoblade, it's coming in April. It's definitely the kind of game you have to commit to and take the time to learn the battle system properly, and X looks to be similar. I don't think story from the first will carry over, so either way you're good with the sequel!

I cant wait!! Trailer looks amazing! i keep watching it looking for little details! They said its supposed to be 5 times larger than Xenoblade!

I was planning on getting the New 3DS version, so I'll probably skip getting the Wii version again and just wait for the portable version.

I hope the music is as good as the first game! i havnt really been wowed by the music in the trailers so far. I know some people dig it and are happy they got the guy who did Attack on Titan. I havnt really watched the show or listened to his music so i guess im hoping it lives up to first game. The soundtrack was one of my favorite parts. I mean come on, how can you listen to this and not want to go on an adventure?

I watched Attack on Titan and the music is very good. That doesn't necessarily translate to a game, but I think it will be good! The more I listen to the songs we've heard so far, the more I like it. But I don't think it can beat the first game's music because it's one of the best of all time. It's one of those instances where the multiple people collaborating came together and did something special that doesn't happen too often.

I was talking about the music specifically, none of those composers are back as far as we know. The actual development team and directors is still the same as before.

This is an interview that talks a bit about the process they went through with the music. http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/int...

The game's director Takahashi (been in charge since Xenogears) is a huge influence on the musical direction, so as long as he's there, even with a different composer, I'm not worried at all

I've never really gotten into sandbox games and I don't play JRPGs that often (maybe once every couple of years), but Xenoblade Chronicles sucked me in last year and I put 130+ hours into that game (with so much more still left to do quest-wise). I am stoked for X. It looks like it is going to capture a lot of what made the original Xenoblade great--large, luscious environments, huge and intimidating enemies, outlandish scenery, etc., etc. I can't wait. Day one purchase for me.

Yeah, downloaded those a little while ago, good stuff! If anyone knows how to read Japanese, they post updates to Twitter and xenobladex.jp that Google translate can't seem to make sense of for some reason.

So pretty recent news, but Japan's release date is April 29th this year! The translation is undoubtedly a massive project, so I'm guessing we'll see this game hopefully summer/early fall

Pretty Awesome Stuff!! Curious what those little Jar Jar Binx Ewok guys are, haha, could they have actually made characters more anoyying than Nopon? Also it shows a 4/28 release date I think, and 4/2 for Xenoblade N3DS! I thought that was the same release date in America! Here's hoping X will be out 4/28 here as well!!

Tatsu's already looking to be the best character in the game, Nopon are awesome We're getting Xenoblade 3D on 4/10, but we definitely aren't getting X in April. I think it won't be too much longer though since localization is well underway. I'm guessing summer sometime.

I think that'd b a smart time to release it! I think it's shapin up to be a hit! Well at least a Wii u sized hit. They played it smart by putting shulk in smash bros and releasing Xenoblade on New 3Ds first! Should bring alotta new fans! Haha! Nopon are anoyying as all hell tho! I love em and I love exploring there city and the look of it and everything but everytime one of opens there mouth it's like nails on a chalkboard!

So is there any news on what BLADE does? From the name it sounds like they intend to fight gods and/or destiny, like in Xenoblade. I haven't played any other Xeno games, so is this like a recurring theme or something? Is there a reason why? From what I understood this game was supposed to have a "deep sci-fi" story as opposed to a "generic fantasy" story, but the whole "fighting against gods and predestination" seems more in the fantasy genre. Game looks great, don't get me wrong, I'm just curious about the history and themes of the series.
