Very exciting news. The analogue nt mini console now supports loading roms off of an sd card instead of playing carts only.

(Hope this is the right subforum, there seems to be a thread about hacking the nes mini though. So this seems in line with that.)

I guess this means Kevtris has been working on that flash cart he was talking about doing someday.

My NES needs are already taken care of, but if the Core Store   is opening up, color me interested.

I wonder if it scrapes up SD cards, too.

So like a everdrive N8 but better? Would this be specific to the NT/original hardware probably not)

"It seemed like a waste to only have one system on it, so I have decided unofficially to release all of my existing FPGA videogame cores on the system for free via "Jailbroken" firmware... I have some future plans beyond just offering cores for this system, I want to offer controller and cartridge adapters too!"

Whaaat!!! So the Nt Mini is becoming something like a mini MIST computer for Atari, Colecovision, and Game Boy that uses real carts and controllers? That's a HUGE value add to what is already the best (total feature-wise) NES clone on the market! I'm going to see how this turns out, but almost definitely see an Nt mini in my future now.

I still wonder why they didn't have the raised ribs that any professionally-designed cart door would have to minimize contact. Stupid oversight.

tagging this for future reference. My Mini came in last week and I haven't gotten around to opening it yet... This is incentive to break the seal!

Holy cow man. This is epic! I just came over here to post the link but the OP beat me to it. Maybe Kevtris could release a "jailbreak" applet for the AVS for budget minded consumers???
