PS BSD is a term you hear in other hobbies to describe the high rollers - and I think its about time we started using it too

thanks.  as for SE - ehh.... what's the point in paying a few hundred dollars to get it graded (cost on expensive stuff is a % of market value remember). its sealed and decent but not super high grade so I can't really justify a) the cost and b) the risk of shipping

I haven't heard of any really low scores because people don't send in their junk and pay good $ for a low score. In the AFA database (an affiliated grading company) there are a few grades around 20 and 30. I assume for a sealed game it would have to be crushed, torn, worn, and stickered to get less than 40. The only purpose to grading something like that would be to confirm a true seal rather than preserve a collection piece and/or increase its value.

Frost271, that CV2 is sick man. I remember you being dissapointed with "only" a 90 grade, but hopefully you see now that 90's are simply gorgeous.   Sorry the FF games aren't for sale   Unless you have eleventy billion dollars, that is.

Dan, so you have that 95 Dracula X. That's the highest grade I've ever seen for an SNES game.

And yes, the lowest scores you'll probably see are around 60-70 I bet. Like tuxedocivic says, if you know it's in horrible conditon, then there's no point of getting it graded unless it's an uber rare game and/or to verifying the authenticity of the factory seal.
