I think this is going to be similar to the Dr. Mario competition. Just waiting to see a million point score. I'll probably just get a participation point this week, but I'll try to end up in the top ten.

You won't see a million point score unless someone scores 920,000 on mode A. I think the highest anyone can get is around the 70k - 80k on mode b, level 9, height 5.

Actually, this poses another question:

Say I score 65k on Mode B, and 300k on mode A, my next score I post, do I have to redo Mode B?

Good question that Krunch also posted.  I answered it above but it may not have been very clear because I answered it from my phone and didn't quote the post.  You guys can submit your best scores for each Mode.  For example, you score 350,000 on Mode A and 20,000 on Mode B.  The next time you play, you only score 150,000 on Mode A and 30,000 on Mode B.  Your Mode A score will still remain 350,000, but your Mode B score will be upped to 30,000.

Playing both Mode A and B this time around is to change up the Tetris rules since this is the 5th time (I think) that it has been played in the weekly contests.  Plus, if you get a good run on Mode B, it could go a long way in helping someone move up the point standings.

Oh, and when's the next Random Prize week?

They are announced at random, so no one will know.  Also, random prize weeks will be announced at the conclusion of the contest that I choose as a Random Prize week.

I'll go for Tetris' lowest score! (Yes, I do suck that much)  Never mind, I was already beaten by a fellow Luke.

Game A

Game B

I'll take the participation point though!

EDIT: Score is 18,350

Don't care to even try part B. Will never in a million years understand why people think Tetris, or any puzzle game for that matter, is fun.

Haha, I think there are fun puzzle games out there, but this isn't one of them.

Haha I have to give myself a break from these kinds of games for a few days. Between Tetris and Catherine, I swear everything is going to start turning into blocks that I have to arrange.

What's sad is, I'm so used to the dog bone controller (which mine isn't as responsive as it should be), but I can't play with the brick controller anymore. I know most people are the opposite, but I love the dog bone.

Not a high score, but got in some tricky spots that are somewhat entertaining.

Updated my score. 92,209 in comparison to others isn't great but it is a personal best for me in Game Type A! Can't wait to see the rest of the incredible scores people post.

B-TYPE is brutal. I got really lucky with my run after several attempts. The board needs to be set up low enough to where you can stack a tetris and be able to move the pieces, then you have to get the right pieces. You can get 7 tetris's max, but that's really hard. I think I got 5 in my attempt.
