7,100 already, not bad for a solitary cartridge. I don't see a reserve on this either, so if this doesn't get to the winner it's going to get ugly with the dollar amount involved. eBay isn't seller friendly so that could be a show in it of itself.

I think you'll all find that you'll save yourself a lot of stress if you just don't consider SE a US release and instead class it as a variant like classic series Metroid or Blades of Steel.

Our Heaven, and our Hell.
This, is Outer Heaven.

Looks to me like someone thought they'd have a quick flip/investment on their hands (buy sealed SE, VGA it, instant cash!), perhaps using financing they couldn't afford, then had no success using multiple methods of selling, and are trying to get back some of that investment.

hahah ooops, I had no idea.

imho it's pretty straightforward

people were sick of him pimping his game when it was too expensive

now it is an auction, he doesn't have to pimp it

wierd how that works

If he pulls it right before the last 12 hours, can we finally ban this fool?

This is the most exciting NES game to talk about from a collecting standpoint. I look forward to reading threads about it.

Exactly, he has already put this up for open auction once.  He also came in and made a thread saying the BIN was lowered to $58k, only to raise it right back up to $500k the next day.

I'm just sick about hearing about this guy and his flaky auctions.

That typically means that they ended the auction early and cancelled the item.  When that happens, ebay removed all the bidders and treats it as an item that ended with no bids.  I think they do this to make it so that it doesn't throw off anyone keeping data on sales.  If they ended it showing 10k when it really didn't sell because he pulled it early, then the sales data people wouldn't know that it didn't sell.

If anyone is LOOKING for certain repro/homebrews, I have a running repro company thread going as well as a lot of extras myself which include Limited Editions as well.  I'm also free to help answer questions and point people in the right direction so never hesitate to ask!  Here is the current list of repro companies.  Please let me know if I need to update it:

World Class Track Meet is the variant. Stadium Events is actually the correct, necessary one.

Maybe you should consider Stadium Events to be a failed marketing experiment, and WCTM is the wide-release...

Heh, I would if it wasn't the de facto release in Europe and Japan as Stadium Events =)

I really am just sick of these threads and the attention the game gets...if I put mine up there would be crickets, lol

I think this bandwagon hate on SE is hilarious. If you don't care about it, why open every thread about it and bitch about it in every single one? I personally think that it's rather entertaining to see the ludicrous amount of money spent on it, thus making the auctions fun to watch.

or the ludicrous amount of money NOT spent on it, and just typed into a price box through a seller's home computer's keyboard.

there is extra hate for this one, because the guy selling it bought it specifically so he could 'make a killing' on the popularity of stadium events...well if its so popular, so sought after..how come he is having such a problem getting a buyer? this ones graded. no buyers. we're all but shattering the credibility of the game here as it is, because as many collectors as there are here, none of us in our right mind are willing to buy it from phish0r, a random duder that is just trying to double his money. its not worth it to anybody. we saw the actual auction come and go when he won the thing, im too lazy to go back and look for it in all of these stadium events threads. we've all been through it over again and back one zillion times, the fact of the matter is that nobody here would want to pay that kind of outrageous, inflated, recoculous price.
