Even after Starlink was $30 on Amazon recently I opted to pass. Just didn't want to deal with the toy bullshit in any capacity.
Yeah, the toys were a bit of a turnoff for me too, but I’m glad I picked up the game anyway. Very reminiscent of Star Fox 64 and Rogue Squadron. I think Ubisoft shot themselves in the foot by incorporating a toys-to-life angle. Probably would have sold much better as a traditional standalone $60 release.
Same here. I honestly would've gotten the game if not for the dumb toy requirement. They're not even small toys either, have you seen how huge all the components take up on top of the controller? Plus each component of the ship is sold separately and they are not cheap when you add it all up. What a shame. The game looked good otherwise but I just can't justify a game with big pieces of plastic required to play it.

Is everyone else as addicted to Smash as I am right now? My God I can't stop. Im so close to finishing Ys VIII too.
Hell yeah! I unlocked every character after only 2 days of playing. I've logged in probably about 40 hours so far. I'm not super into the Spirits mode, as its not as fun as just flat out Smashing. I've cleared Classic modes with every character so far. I already know which characters I absolutely do not like, and which I definitely like and want to practice with more. I didn't spend a ton of time with Smash Bros Wii U/3DS or Brawl but I'm loving Ultimate, I think I already have more time put into it than I did either Brawl or Wii U and 3DS. Melee and 64 I put a ton of time into though since I had a lot of friends to play that with locally, now I really don't, but the game is fun enough to play alone anyway.
