Was there ever a prototype for this game? I remember seeing it in the "coming soon" section of Nintendo Power back in the day, but for some reason I guess it was never released.

There might be a translation of the Famicom version floating around somewhere I guess.

That would be extra hard considering there is no Famicom version...  Unless I'm mistaken, I think the only Nintendo platform to see Deja Vu 2 would be the gameboy color.

As for the OP's original question, there is currently no known copy of Ace Harding in a collectors hands.  I haven't even heard anyone allude to owning a copy.  If it's out there we haven't found it yet.

DREDGE FROM DEPTHS..

Recently saw a listing for an "Ace Harding" for NES... But it's from a shakey source. If I lived closer to NJ/NY I could go see if I could track it down. Probrably gone by now..

Interesting....

Although it's likely nothing, I'm close enough to NY/NJ that I would be willing to make the trip for some Ace Harding action. Care to pass along the lead?

This has always been a matter of great interest to me. The screenshots I've seen over the years don't appear to be mockups, I've read bits and pieces that say it was being worked on... I'd love to know if this exists somewhere, in someone's hands. Over the years I'd been tempted to hack the original's rom into the sequel, using the GBC version as a guide, but never quite got the effort going. Shame it never saw the light of day, it's a great game.
