Hello! Just making a post to introduce myself. My name is Ryan & I live in middle of no-where South Dakota. When I say middle of nowhere, I truely mean it, small town of 400 people surrounded by corn fields. I am a software engineer for a telecommunications company, but, in my spare time, I've developed games in Monogame. I want to take things in a different direction and delve into NES dev. I have completed the nerdy nights tutorials. Now, I'm just beginning to develop my own games for the NES. While learning things, I've discovered I know very little about how hardware in general works. So, I've been learning about microcontrollers and processors all while learning NES dev. I hope to showcase something here in the following months. All of the games I did in monogame were 2D and pixel art so I hope to port some of those over to the NES. I realize I may need to cut about 90% of it due to the constraints. But, I've come to enjoy the limitations of NES dev, as odd as that sounds. Thanks for reading!
