Ha ha that's sweet! Some would pay more than that for just the 1st part Nintendo brand AC Adapter! Nice score :-)

In spite of the dirty console just the controllers themselves make this a decent haul. Congrats!

it cleaned up nicely, actually. the sticker on top came off easy with goo gone, though there's some scrapes from whoever took a knife to it to try to remove it. most of the sharpie marks came off. I would have got all of it off, but the goo gone smell was starting to get to me.

after a dry spell of garage saleing...sailing...hunting this weekend, I went to one of the games stores I frequent and traded in smash bros brawl, along with halo's 3, odst, and reach, totaling 30 bucks in credit. decent enough, I suppose.

afterwards, I hit up a different store that I had 4 dollars credit at and well, found this:

so, that was cool.

found this. $5 at a garage sale.

sweet find, but downside: light doesn't work and didn't come with charger. meh, doesn't bother me much, already have a working one.

found this:

really surprised to find this for 10 bucks, given that usually every store around here wants ebay prices.

also, found this while garage saleing...sailing...hunting. 50 cents.

slow week and the weekend to come does not look like it will yield anything, so here's some things I found:

cashed in some points to get a 10 dollar off coupon, so I basically got this for free.

been looking for this little guy. sadly, no manual, but meh, still cool find.

took awhile, but after banking a lot of store credit at one of the stores I frequent, I scored this:

so, so, so very happy to get this. costly, but given it was store credit from stuff I found at garage sales, barely paid anything.
no more hoping and praying for games to work on my OG model NES, I can play with the big boys now.

went out of town to meet up with a friend. before and after the meetup, I hit up some shops and found these:

the comic shops in my town for some reason don't carry mega man, so these were a nice find.
definitely should head back there again.

already had killer 7, but this one has a better case. now I just need to find a better manual.

this past weekend was the Screwattack Gaming Convention or SGC.
despite my best efforts, I couldn't afford the trip to the event.
however, my friend was going and...uh...long story short, this happened:

I asked my friend to get my MMX3 autographed and he managed to succeed...so...yeah, I feel good right now.

garage sales were a bust this weekend. it rained Thursday, so a good chunk of the sales around here decided to cancel even though it was dry the next two days...

anyways, I still managed to get something this week:

the comics were $7.50 (S&H included) from ebay, and the game I picked up at one of my local shops for a little over $4 store credit.

garage sales were once again a bust...should probably take a break from garage saleing...sailing...hunting, for a while at least.

anyways, week wasn't total loss. found these:

for once, my local comic shops had mega man comics. game didn't have manual, but, meh, not torn up over it.
also, picked up some nes plastic sleeves for about 2 bucks total.

Hey, that Gamecube looks better than my Atari 7800 lol. Nice find.

Is that signature on your Mega Man X3 Tokuro Fujiwara?

so...

yard sales were dry yesterday. people either still setting up and really only ready to sell by Saturday, or nothing but clothes and gnats/mosquitoes/flies/chiggers/whatever flying, biting insects hovering around.

this morning, empty sale, sale with junk ds/3ds games selling at store prices, church sales yielding nothing, and the last one...
the last one I found an n64 (grey), 3 official controllers, and a rumble pak...and then I ask how much, only to be told it's not for sale. not for sale? why is it even out on the table, then?

so...on a whim, really to just salvage the past 2 days, I headed up one of my local stores. found this:

common game to post about, I know, but it felt kind of weird to the touch for some reason, like it was a little heavier than other games...also, the pins look a little different than normal pins...wonder what's that about...

(you can see where this is going, can't you?)

hot tramp, I love you so!

so, yeah, that happened. also got some comics off ebay, but pinball was the cooler thing to talk about
