Not one of my favorites, played a half dozen games or so, probably all I'm going to do. Just not into this one. And I really hate the item switching in this game.

Score upon 1st death 25,480

See more recent post for higher score.

Now I just need to get some points....hmmmm....

What's up with all these random scores. Are we allowing point racking?

I thought point racking was generally frowned upon...
BTW-Somebody define point racking....I thought it was just standing waiting for an enemy to respawn and keep killing it...or something to that matter...

I wondered that too. For this particular game, I don't see a problem with point racking since there's a timer for each level, do what you can before it runs out. I haven't done it yet, but it seems nearly half of us are, so if I expect to get a decent score in, may as well join in on it and see what I can do. Still, gotta stop dying on the water level, always hate swimming levels.

I thought the point was to get as many points before you die, not how far you get in the game. If it's about a high score, wouldn't you use the time clock to your advantage? In the past 3 competions I've noticed the scores vary dramatically...

Guilty... honestly I didn't know, but if its an issue I don't mind to redo mine.

Okay so after watching a couple scores last week point racking is fine if there is a time limit. If there is no time limited then point racking is prohibited. So point rack away on this one guys(and ladies). It's the only real way to get a nice score.

Points have been racked. Though I probably could've done better. At least now I more than qualify, for now.

Score upon 1st death 68,840

See next post for better score.

Alright here's mine. First time I had around the same score as Mog and realized I should use all the time I had instead of rushing through a level. Well I no deathed the whole game and racked a few points on each level.

High Score = 152,020

We generally allow point racking on games that have timers. If point racking is not allowed in a contest, it will be stated in the rules.

Update to score, got further into the game too. I really pushed it close on the previous level, spent so much time point racking that I just barely made it in time, had 1 second left when I defeated the lamia boss.

Score upon 1st death 108,510

I forgot completely about time on the last level and I barely made it to the final boss. I was so worried that I wasn't going to reach the boss but thank god the timer stopped.

Here's my best score for this week.
I sacrificed the honor to beat the game with no death and get some extra time to boost my score.

Best I could manage.  Didn't have a lot of time for Karnov this week, though.

Wow, those are insane scores! You know, my weakest point in games in trying to find ways to earn high scores, I could give it my all with this one and never come close to what you guys got.

WoW Dude! I honestly thought I was riding alone to the victory here. Huge Ass score, and I think you're at level 7, right?

What were your best racking spots?

As for myself, the green swordsmen attacking from left and right were my bread. Also, the diving blue birds at the end of stage 3, and especially at beginning of stage 4.

You're talking about the swordsmen at the tree in stage 1, right? So easy to rack up points there. Wish I would have had time to play more.

Yes!
When you got the right move to respawn them while shooting them,  it quickly rewards.

Yeah, I forgot how long it took to do 7 and ran out of time there.

Sounds like you did the same things I was. I did find a real nice spot on 4 to get some points, also the one spot I wasted all the time in 7 was a great spot for points (swordsmen). I also planned to run the time out on the top of 9, but I never got there

Well, you still kicked my ass by 30k with 2 stages less, Congrats!

What was your spot in stage 4?
Personally, I was respawning the blue birds at the top of the mountain. I know I could do better than what I did cause I constantly missed one bird about 50% of the time.
