So I have a Mortal Kombat III sega genesis proto that doesn't fire up at all when placed into a system or a dumper, but I believe the data and EPROMS are all functional. I assume it would take a board transplant to get the data? Full disclosure, it would be a decent amount of work, it's a Genesis big board. I'd be happy to reimburse someone to a hopefully fair price if anyone is good at these kinds of things.

I can't see how different it would be to the final product but other Nintendo Age members are relentlessly forthcoming with new information. Even if the game doesn't appear any different, someone will find something. Even if its only just a very minor difference in the game's code. I wish you luck!
