Dunno but you got a better running list combined into one post. I got this 115-in-1 pirate cart coming, found the rom for it last night and I know that stuff like Devil World, Battle City, and Macross are totally english ready, even Antarctic Adventure works as well. I'm not sure if you got either listed in some other fashion but I can confirm those. While not on the cart I tinkered with it ages ago but that terrible Transformers game could be added too.

Shitty Transformers for sure and Crisis Force. Holy Diver and Altered Beast don't require any type of reading so I'd add them up too. Oh, and Recca!

How'd I forget all those important ones like Recca and Crisis Force?!?!

Well, this actually started as a list of Famicom games I was missing from my PowerPak. I didn't really want to put all those JRPGs and Mahjong games on it that would never get played so I started this list which is why many are missing and why I need some help to make this 100% complete.

You should get a translated copy of Sweet Home though. I love that game now. It's a crazy blend of 8 bit Resident Evil and Dragon Warrior and it's a helluva lot better than that description sounds. Totally worth your time.

Don't forget Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti. That's a totally playable game for non-Japanese speakers and a ton of fun too.

I'll sum the contributions made to my thread here, so you can add the ones that aren't in your list already. Later.

EDIT: I saw you apology, but believe me, there's no reason to feel offended here . We rather put all the contributions on your list, to have everything neat and in order.

I can't recall and would have to look into it, but I think Kid Dracula is doable w/out knowing...and while it is listed Twinbee has two sequels (though 2 came here tweaked a little as Stinger) and there's Parodius as well.

Ok, it took me a while but I decided to go ahead and list all the existing fan translations. The first list is still open to any game that has little Japanese. Also added all the titles from everybody's posts so far.

Thank you for doing this! I only have 10 famicom games and will be referencing this list in the near future when I find the motivation to dig a little deeper in its enormous library.

If you have any GBA signage or kiosk I would be interested. Please send me a PM because I'm only here about once a month now but I'm still VERY interested in large system signage or small playable kiosks related to the GBA.

Wizardry: Legacy of Llylgamyn has plenty of Japanese in it. It has the OPTION to put the entire game in English, but it doesn't default to English. You pretty much need to know which options to set in order to get it in full English. I would suggest putting a note by the title to say that you have to set the options first, but it is indeed fully playable in English.

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Hitler No Fukkatsu: Top secret is relativly playable if you've played bionic commando...and even if you've never played the game. But there is a part where you can potentially get stuck.

There's a fan translation out there for Yume Penguin Monogatari, but it starts with 2nd loop difficulty. Even still, while there's a ton of Japanese text in the cutscenes it really isn't all that difficult to figure out what to do without a translation.

What about Kyattou Ninden Teyande/Samurai Pizza Cats.  Very easy game with no english required.

There quite a few games with lots of japanese that won't really affect gameplay. Maybe start a separate list for these. For example, Yume Penguin Monogatari is a real fun game. You are a fat penguin that is trying to lose weight by getting powerups. The more weight you lose, the better fighter and faster you are. Additionally, there are requirements that your girlfriend sets for each level (you have to be below a certain weight and have a certain amount of time left when the level is done). If you did not meet her requirements, you have to play the level over. These cut scenes make no sense for someone who doesn't speak japanese, and might confuse a player why they kept playing a level over and over again. But, if you understand that, you don't need to know a lick of japanese to be able to play it.
