This is a Zelda test cart. I emailed the seller an offer. They have no idea what they have. I really hope to win this, one of the last two I need!

Thought that's what it might be, but it kinda looked like a repo cart.

Good Luck Langenfield, sorry to post your secret score! If his eBay user name is any indication, then this fella is from a salvation army store.

What is on this cart exactly anyways? Is it a normal simple test program or is it some specialized version of Zelda? In my mind for some reason, I always thought the Zelda label had really nothing to do with the cart itself but they just slapped it on because they had a surplus of the labels or something...

It is just the standard Zelda board, no cool rom changes. There was a theory that they were all loaded with the Zelda save name for second quest but I don't think there is a way to actually figure that out.

There is also (supposedly) a Duck Hunt test cart, but I don't own it so I don't believe it exists Of course if someone wanted to sell it to me....

Dammit, I want one of these really badly.

I guess I'll watch it. I know it won't stay cheap now though.

Also personally i dont think people should post auctions if they have bids on them. It can kinda really screw people out of stuff they are watching.

So this is basically just Zelda with a yellow case? No special test functions whatsoever? A little disappointing

If you are watching it, someone else is too All collectors have huge lists of auto searches, my "nes yellow -metroid" caught it no problem. Just like bidding against people: if its rare/expensive all friends rules disappear. Post away!

Yea brian is right, especially on an item like this, im sure it has already been seen by half the peeps on this board. Just sucks for the guys wanting to win it cheap. Which they still might. who knows, i have a bid in mind but if i lose it no biggy.

I didn't think anyone besides me had a nes yellow saved search. I don't think to many people saw it before it was posted cause it didn't have that many watchers or question askers before hand. I nearly got it yanked for 50 bucks when it was first listed damn it.

I actually don't use the watch function, I add to my calendar instead so I have an alarm. Used to have an app that would do it automatically but the last ebay html update messed that up.

And for those that do not have searches yet, expect to make them much more complicated than just a couple words. Like I am looking for one of the World of Nintendo signs (please sell me one!) and the search is (nes, nitendo, ninendo, nintendo) (sign, cabinet, demo, display) -gba -"1 cent" -64 -n64 -gamecube -gameboy -"game boy" -"game cube" -snes -pokemon -"super nintendo" -wii -lcd -dvd -ds

All apologies NGD and Parpunk!

I understand your frustration and in the future I will not post such things. Honestly, I couldn't tell if it was a repo cart or a cart someone had made because they thought it was cool. I should've known better.

Sorry, folks.

No need to be sorry, you can tell above that everyone, including me, already had this on their watch lists so it's no biggie. You were simply asking a question and you can't learn unless you ask.

Don't be sorry man. I was just hoping to snag it cheap cause it hadn't gotten much attention. I was just going to resale it to make a profit anyways. Unless the sellers yanks it for the last offer I sent him 2 days ago on it which I doubt at this point.

haha funny you say that, i have a ebay search entitled "zelda yellow" (searching title and description) lol although i normally get a lot of metroids and zelda auctions to dig threw so i havent checked it lately. But either way you already have one NGD so it shouldnt bug ya too much.

MLN - no problem at all bro, you did nothing wrong. Its all good, actually i didnt catch it until listed here and i actually thank ya because i plan to bid now. :-) thanks! i just mentioned about posting links with bids, just incane its something someone really wants and its really hidden. For instance like a misspelled CIB chubby cherub that NGD would have a bid on. im sure he wouldnt want it posted lol.
