Back in the day I used to use software called WebSite-Watcher (http://aignes.com/...), it can check sites periodically and show a message when the page has changed. It's not free though, but it's pretty old so maybe there are some free alternatives nowadays.

Luckily RetroUSB now has an email notification service. I signed up to get notified when BK2 is back in stock; can't wait!

He also says you can purchase the ROM from Sivak's site, which is of course not true.

Our Heaven, and our Hell.
This, is Outer Heaven.

Battle Kid 2 stayed in stock for about 30 seconds apparently. I saw it was in stock over a week ago, was THIS close to buying it, then thought I'd better wait until payday a couple days later, then went back to get it, and...nothing. Hope Bunnyboy restocks it soon.

I haven't been able to find a single online review of BK2; has it been reviewed anywhere?

Finally got my copy of Battle Kid 2, complete with manual, concept art book, cool transparent sleeve, and fabulously illustrated box. What an exceptionally polished professional product; now to pop in the awesome translucent blue-green cartridge and actually play the game...as soon as my bus drops me home...

Received mine today. Indeed an awesome polished product - great graphics, music and controls. ... The game is very difficult though! I'm stuck on the Gneiss Golem Boss, on EASY MODE (pink suit).

Hi Sivak! I receveid my copy last week (It was delivered after almost 11 weeks!) It was worth the wait anyway! The game is very good and very clever! I am playing in normal mode and i have just beaten the third boss (among the bosses depicted in the top right corner. It should be the fourth or the fifth so far, if you count the very first easy one and the bald guy). I like a lot the innovations in gameplay like the wall grip. So far I'm enjoying it as much as the first one, or even more! Death count: about 860 Thank you for this great game!

Also the box and the manual are outstanding, I love the cover art.

Sivak -- you are a sadistic, awesome genius. I've been playing off and on for a week. This game is more polished than a fair number of officially released titles; but it also makes Ninja Gaiden look like the easiest game ever made. I look forward to the day when I can finally make it to the third boss. I would love to see you take a crack at an epic Metroid style adventure someday. Or just more Battle Kid.
