I like how they are nice enough to tell you that they price everything to be the cheapest on eBay.  That way you don't have to waste your time checking everyone else's prices.

I actually think it seems kind of cool, but not at $40 and that fact that it's not a Super Nintendo and being advertised as such makes it even crazier.

Ok, I researched this a bit. Apparently these things came out less than a year ago and were available in general retailers.  I don't keep up with this type of stuff but I still wasn't expecting it to show up in my eBay searches for random GB items.

Yeah. These "Culture Fly" loot boxes exploit gamers. There's a Zelda one, a Super Mario one, Call of Duty, etc, etc, etc.

This one was released to coincide with the SNES Classic and it was ~$30 at Walmart. It might have been at Target too. Not sure. This one is particularly lazy. Except for the outer box, only 1 item is SNES-related: The backpack. The "mystery item" is an NES controller pin. The control pad depicted on the coin is NES style.

Curious, what would be a fair price for such an NFR.  That said, considering it’s sealed and in a box, was this an NFR that was a pack in rather than a special unit for other purposes?

That’s a lot of money but if this was an oddball, 1-in-1000 or less were made, I could see a sealed copy commanding. Price like that.  But the fact that it’s in a sealed box makes me feel that this is more common than they assume.

 

I have no idea what the pricing should be like, but I believe other conversations about this that I recall point to it being a pack in for a Target-exclusive Game Cube bundle.  I believe this should be the bundle it was part of.

They are rare, but not for that price. I was able to pay $125 for mine, so yes that price is waaaaay outta there to the moon lol.

I don't know about the pricing, but some guy's got a VidPro card of the unreleased "Special Tee Shot" for sale for $70.  The interesting thing about it is that outside of being featured an early SNES insert poster (GP-SNS-USA-2), this is the first time I've ever seen official art for the title.  Also the UPC on the back seems to have been recycled and re-assinged to Kirby's Tee Shot, much like the entirety of the game itself.
