Ya the last two forms are pretty easy. The first one will usually get me once or twice.

Act 3 gives me the most trouble. Not a single health replenishment, those fucking fish and the toughest boss in the whole game imo.

Um, there's a health replenishment in act 3. You must have missed it.

Act 7 gives me the most trouble. You have to be perfect as well as fast in order to have the slightest chance of making it to the final bosses with enough time.

Oh yea there is a health replenish lol

act 6 has none but at least I figured out how to beat the boss with barley any life.

Act 7 isn’t that bad imo

B U L L S H I T

For starters, it's the final section, and that by itself plays on the nerves. There are some platforming sections where you can easily make a mistake and fall, such as the disintegrating platforms with the helicopter enemies and the moving platform and elecricity right before the 1up.

The sections with the spikes are like mini mazes. If you don't know remember exactly where to go, you're in trouble.

In addition you have to speed run it because of the strict time limit.

It's way harder to no death than any of the prior acts.

Lol. Michael! I would lie to you!

And I keep making stupid mistakes and dying on earlier levels. I hate when this happens.

That’s my bigger problem as well. Act 3 just always gets me somehow.

And act 6 is tough with no life and that spot where you climb and those weird things fly at you.

I came really close to beating the first final boss form on one life. I can do this.

The part that tends to slow me down is the floating platforms section with all the robotic insects. I'll screw up my platforming there and waste a bunch of time.

Didn't put much effort into this. Only played it today and tried a couple of times. I had no shot. Again it all depended on the game chosen. For the next tournament may I suggest the games selected be ones everyone is either pretty good at,like maybe SMB or really bad at.

Excellent score!

The bosses in this game are pretty easy for the most part. 3, 6, and 7A give me the most trouble.

I've got a game on pause. Probably not gonna amount to anything though...

I mean... when SMB was selected last year I knew I had no shot.  Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

What I tried last year (having stole it from an old NES tournament) was having the players play three games, one mod game that I figured neither would be familiar with, and one game of their choice.  That was my attempt to balance things out.

No matter the outcome, I had a blast this year and glad I made it to the tournament. Congrats to the finalist and a huge thank you to everyone who put this thing on and continue to put it on each year. Looking forward to next year!

My game is still paused from earlier. Might only have time to post my picture with the way things are going. Still need a Bert sighting!

I made it to the final bosses with around 50 seconds and choked on the first one. I was too out of practice on them. Ugh. I have a 580k score that I won't even bother posting.

I still want to no death this.

I want to know how bert and arn got such low scores in Ninja Gaiden 2 which was way easier and not even a one life contest. That lulled me into a false sense of security dammit.
