Stardust2015.nes

Well, no Stardust game yet, but there's a Star Keeper with my name on it...

LOL, what would the "StarDust" game be about?
He's kidding obviously lol . Stardust would be a cool name for star keeper 2 . 😉

Hey, it's fun to dream, ain't it?

So, my package left San Fran at 5:30 am on the 30th. It still hasn't arrived at its next check point. lol

I think Larry coerced the post woman to take him home!

I posted a little Let's Play video. I didn't go that far. There's really nothing in here you won't also find in the demo:

Okay Larry, YOU COCKSUCKER!!!

I wanna know the truth. but in all earnesty, I really don't want to know. What I'm about to say is gospel. Tonight, or rather this afternoon, I went to the bar. I had 5+ beers. Draft. Premium. The exact number I don't know. The bartender lady fixed me up a mixed drink. The contents of which I cannot recall. But it was Gooooodd!!

That damn song from the Larry demo. Jukebox. In Tusky's Bar. It WAS NOT FROM THE 80s like the Study Hall mix tape. I heard the actual song tonight. After an innumerable number of drinks. The artist I do not recall. The song title I do not recall.

But I do know one thing. That song on the Tusky's Jukebox: It was not 80s pop. It was not 90s pop. It was the wurst kind of pop. Y2K POP!!!

To the life of me I cannot remember what it was. But it played at the bar tonight. In a real bar. After real drinks. With real chicks, GODDAMNIT!!! It torments my soul... That 8-bit melody... What was it???

Please... If you know the answer... DO NOT EDJUMACATE!!! I deserve to be left in the dark... My soul tormented... FOREVER!!! IN HELL!!!

That damn song... I cannot know what it was... Even after I sober up... If I ever do that is...

DAMN YOU KHAN GAMES!!! THE 80s were GREAT!!! Why on Earth??? Oh, HOLY MARY, mother of GOD... Why did you make me insert that dollar into the Jukebox???

My soul will forever be in torment... Not knowing what the song was...

...

Y2K POP SUX...

...

.......

RIP... Stay sober, Larry...

Until next time...

The cart still sits in my NES... But I'm too drunk to play It........

Is there a way to discard unwanted items? I just got "stuck" outside the Quiki Mart.

Stupid drunk ass Larry wants to save every 5 seconds. Perhaps not the best strategy...

Lessons learned!  If you ever played the originals, imagine having to type all the commands over again haha.

I was drunk as hell when I posted but still sober enough (barely) to know what I was typing would still sound hilareous the next day...

Larry still hasn't come for me. Too busy taking the full US tour. This is worst shipping I have ever had from USPS. This is also the strangest route from RetroUSB that USPS has ever taken. The logistics guy must have been in the John when he routed my package.

Finally got around to playing the game. Pretty good, though since I had already played the original it wasnt to difficult to remember how to beat it. All in all I was impressed with the fact that they had managed to make this for the NES. Definately a neat little gem to have in my NES Library.

The only two things I miss from the original was the store guy yelling out about a certain purchase you make, and the death sequence. Other then that, It's Larry alright.

Also, good touch with the juke box song, and the homage to Nintendoage snuck in there.
