"I can understand getting frustrated about it, but you should have just shrugged it off and produced another run" is what i was told. if you just had the best ninja gaiden run of your life and someone said, "ok, do it again for it to count.", i think you would be a little upset.it's unfortunate because even if i made a video, nobody's going to believe it because my videos are all direct capture off of the console. basically, if you fight for fairness, you'll get kicked. i don't have a problem with that but at least i'm attempting to fight for fair treatment. had i just shrugged it off and didn't say anything, i would have been fine and been able to compete? that seems pretty lame. anyway, i had fun competing with you guys and good luck on the games to come. peace
Even if I understand you can get upset because people ask you to prove further your scores, take good note that it is in the contest rules:
Cheating
- Cheating will NOT be tolerated in any form. This contest is based on trust and honor. Anyone found cheating will be banned from further competition.
-
If there is suspicion of a member cheating, I will review the case and the member may be asked to present further evidence of their score.
If you constantly post great scores, and that your submissions raise doubts from other competitors and even organizers, it is just normal that you need to clear yourself of these doubts through further evidence. Bimmy had the right to ask, and you should have been ready to prove yourself. Any big competitors know that, only cheaters run away from showing proofs. Your Donkey Kong submission was strangely done, we let it go. Bimmy asked proofs about a tetris score you posted, you didn't gave them, and let it go again. Now, you post, again, a suspicious submission for ninja gaiden. It is the way you submit your scores that are questionnable. Don't you think it is just normal that Bimmy do his job and ask you, again, to prove your score?
You should feel honored that he ask you to prove your score, cause it means that you're good enough to raise suspicions. Instead, you're on the defensive and argue that Bimmy is not fair with you. There's no place for a fairness trial. If Bimmy ask you, you must respond to it.
