I just came this close to getting my lead back. If I could have made it through the last track without crashing I should have ended up with about 67,600 but I got sideswiped off the track about halfway through. I guess I have my work cut out for me, but at least there's still two more days left.

 
Whew! I know how you feel. I think I beat the game a dozen times before I barely passed your score.

I want to add this game would be a lot cooler if they played music through the whole game not just when your about at the finish line. I felt more relaxed when the music kicked it.

Hit down on the D-Pad at any time to turn the music on. There are 3 different music tracks to pick from.

I think I might try a few more times on this,but I think my current score just may have to do. I'm pretty fed up with the ultra cheap cars changing lanes right in front of you or even beside you. It's complete garbage.And I could probably only improve my score by a couple of thousand anyway,so whoopie do.

That should be plenty to beat me at least. There is a 2% chance I'll actually get to play again by tomorrow night.

I have come to the conclusion that I need at least 80 hours of gameplay per game, or I won't get into the top 10. I have only played for 3 this week. Hah! I can't pass stage 5.

I don't see how you can crash once and finish course 8. Everytime I have crashed only once,no matter where I am on any of the legs of the course,I never make it even when I am driving very aggressively to try to make up the time. So I am curious as to how you are able to do it.

EDIT: Just finished a practice run on course 8 and drove as aggessively as I could and acclerated as much as possible with no crashes (a few car bumps though) and every leg of the course I either coasted to the checkpoint or got there with a second or two left. Would love to hear yours and Doug's time saving strategies on course 8. Lol.

And just for the record Bimmy,I liked the leaderboard being at the top of these threads. Not that I have any say in the matter,just saying my preference.
