We have to get a price and release date now if they are making March 2017.

Can't wait. Been a lot of leaks but hopefully they have plenty of stuff left to surprise us. Pretty certain I will be pre-ordering it.

Guessing they will release this in small batches as well to cause mass hysteria among the masses?

I'm smelling a Wii like scenario all over again.

 

They've stated they will ship 2 million by the end of the fiscal year. THat's not much and my guess is they want some good sales for next fiscal year as well so I expect a large restock at some point after the new fiscal year, but it may be a bit difficult to get at launch depending on how the event goes as 2 million isn't much. Even Wii U sold like 3 million first month iirc.

imagine the river of tears at the scalpers when we have the switch shortage of 2017 aka NES Classic 2.0

Personally, I find the people who complain about the scalpers to be more annoying then the scalpers themselves.  
 

I'm excited but I really hope I can make the preorder. I'm worried that I won't be able to get one for a while and I'd love to be a Day One on this.

Not hugely excited about the Switch. I see a recurring pattern, one that I wasn't particularly fond of previously.

I am pumped, have not been this excited for the release of a new console in a very long time.

Idk, might wait out for a Zelda version of it. I was a day one adopter of Wii U and I feel that the Zelda system came out not too long after.

Day one buy, if I can get it. I'm dreading have to stay glued to a computer until preorders go up.

I waited a year after the Wii U came out (and 2 for the 3DS) to get one, so I'm excited to get a Nintendo system at launch again.

You speak my language.  Me want Zelda version.
 

All I care about is the new Mario game... everything else released in the first year I will already have on Wii U most likely. Getting Zelda on the Wii U without question.

To me, it's the people actually paying scalper's prices that are the worst, and the cause of it all, but those are quiet and not easy to point out.
 

Ill get a switch but im waiting. Launch consoles a majority of the time end up having an issue. Only took a year to get the windwaker wii u. Im sure we will get a special edition this fall.

haha, nah, Wii U will be by only complete set. No f'ing way I'm letting The Big N double dip with Splatoon, Smash, etc. I almost went for a complete SNES set a while ago, but in retrospect I'm so glad I decided against it.
