Quick add feature rocks! I also like the other ease of use tweaks like deleting when you add a game and being able to change the name on a user define field.

We can also add hardware now!!!! Love this tool

I been adding in stuff slowly, everything is working great. I don't know if someone has mentioned this, but any plans for a android/apple app in the future?

People ask about an app every so often. We're looking into creating what is called a hybrid app. The thing about native apps, nice though they may be, is that you then have to maintain three separate code bases. We simply make too many changes too quickly to split it across three or even two separate things.

We are looking at the options and determining the best way to move forward. If you or anyone you know has experience building hybrid apps, we'd be happy to talk.

Website works fine from my iphone. Having an app is cool but not needed right now. I rather see more features added and the site rounded out first.

That's my stance, personally. The concern is people who have no data plan, but they are honestly a minority. Still, good to keep options open.

Hey...... the site is currently free! Their data plan is on them. I know as developers you have to plan for all aspects but you are on version 1.1 of the site, they should understand. The service you and hoogie provide for free is top tier.

Haha credit for now at least should go solely to Hogie; everything you see right now was built by him. All of my work is still in a bucket waiting to be released! ;P

Gotcha, I have had trouble using the collection tool on my Samsung & just wondering if there was any plans for an app later down the road (It's probably just the browser I'm using). I was just curious for any future plans, nothing immediate. Anyways, everything has been fantastic and it's allowed me audit my collection. You guys are doing incredible work.

No worries bud! Would it be possible for you to take a screenshot of the collection tracker on your phone to show us, and let us know what's giving you trouble? The more we know, the better we can make the tools.

Its not allowing me to login, it keeps going back to registration page. I'm using the stock browser on my Note 4. I don't use my browser very much on my phone, so i'll try another browser tonight.

Damn, you are correct. I am going to keep it on the site but I will remove it from the average and just add PAL to the title. No reason to get rid of data :-) Thanks man!

Husky, Are you still having problems. If so, shoot me a PM and we'll get to the bottom of it. If it is happenening to you then I'm guessing it is happening to someone else out there as well.

I tried this out yesterday, it was incredibly easy to add (nearly) all my games. Uploading my collection is a project I've been wanting to do but never had the right tools for. Almost done adding everything and it only took me maybe 2 hours tops (I have about 500 games across 15-20 platforms).

I thought of a few suggestions last night but forgot them, they will come back to me as I tinker more. But the big one I do remember is that it would be excellent to have a currency converter built into the Collection Tracker like there is on the main site. There is such a large variance in CAD -> USD currency that it's hard to browse my collection and mentally convert everything to Canadian currency. (if there is a currency converter and I just couldn't find it, I'd love to know where it is).

I also love that you can add your "own value" to your entries. As a CIB collector, the difference between AVG selling price and a truly mint Complete is sometimes quite astronomical.

One small random thing:

It looks like maybe Digimon World DS is pulling data from something else, because it's giving me $18.99 for CIB, but I think ~$45 is more accurate (according to Pricecharting as well)

I'm actually in the process of getting the currency converter into the collection tracker right now. It will be an account setting that you only need to set once. I'm hoping to have it out with the next update later this week. :-)

There most certainly was an issue with Digimon World in our DB. After the fix, It should be good to go from here on out :-).

PC is tough due to the number of games that are out there. If you have a good resource for a list of PC games, I could definitely get them added to the collection tracker. Getting them added to GVN is a different story though as I do not believe there is enough sales data on ebay to effectively value them.

Thanks for the tool/website, I like it. I entered all my stuff and this is the first time since the late 90's that I've actually bothered to track what games I have. The only issue I noticed was that Spiderdroid for the Atari 2600 is not in the database. Would be cool if we could eventually export to text or CSV, but that's not a big deal at this point.

An export feature will be added in shortly, it is one of the next things up on the list of todo's. Also, I added Spiderdroid to the site so you should be able to add it to your collection now. Be sure to let me know if you run into anything else :-).

Thanks for the tool. This is the first time I've bothered to inventory my collection so it's been really helpful. Just wanted to say that so I'm not dropping in with things to change.

That said, Rachet & Clank for PS2 is saying $16.44 for CIB, but I think like $6 is more accurate.

Hey Hogie,

Great tool, I just setup an account and it's really awesome!

One thing, I was wondering why some of the values looked really low on the Turbografx 16 / CD stuff and it looks like the tracker uses the CIC (Complete in case) values when you click cart + instruction + box. Should probably change that to use the CIB values instead of CIC. Makes quite a big difference value wise for the TG-16 stuff especially.

Also for Neo-Geo AES is there any plan to add the Japanese games to the list?  Especially the Japanese only exlusives like Sonic Wings 3, Shock Troopers 2, Blazing Star, Pulstar, etc?

Thanks Pegboy, it is pulling in the CIC price where it should be the CIB. I'll get that switched up.

I would have no problem tracking Japanese games. Just simply haven't found the time to gather a list of them at this point. Starting with exclusives would probably be best though. The best way to get these added is to use the "Add a Game Manually" feature. While getting the game info added you would then want to click the switch for "Suggest Gamevaluenow Track This Game". This will streamline the process for getting games added to GVN so that its value can begin to be tracked.

It still looks like this hasn't been fixed yet, or do I need to re-add the games or something else?
