Can't thank you enough for these write-ups. Absolutely love 'em! I will be happy though once we finally move away from the many, many sports titles (In fact, if it were up to me, I'd have all sports titles on their own list) because I simply don't play or care about them. They make for great punching bags review-wise I suppose.

Looking forward to the next installment! You should consider compiling all these into a nice book when you're done.

Thank you

Mostly done with final tune-ups. Roger Clemens was pretty bad, but should at least be readable enough now.  I think that was the game I had gone the longest since playing, which in hindsight was a mistake.

RAW and Royal Rumble were fun, and I'd probably put them higher (then again, I'd also put Lord of the Rings and Captain America ahead of everything listed so far).

Great read man, so glad you're doing this.

I really enjoy reading these reviews, and this series is what finally made me jump in and create a login just so I can say THANK YOU for writing about all these crappy (and in the future posts awesome) games.

Very well written, witty, sometimes hilarious, all-in-all great fun. Looking forward to the next installment!

I'm eager to see where the cusp will be - the point where your reviews go from being generally negative overall to being positive. Will it be around review #400? #200? Will there be a long stretch of mediocre games? Will we find that you rate the majority of the SNES library above average/great?

I do appreciate that you've tried to find some good even in the worst stinkers, if possible. I'm personally not a fan of (most) sports games, but as a lover of all video games, even the most boring, dollar-bin sports games (which a lot of these have been so far) are worthy of -some- attention, even if briefly. After all, someone took time to work on the game and put it out there, and these reviews have given me a glimpse into some stinkers that I'll likely never get around to playing myself. Keep it up!

Well I won't spoil much, but everything from 300 on down is pretty much a positive review. It gets murkier after that.  But anyone who knows me knows I seem to enjoy more games than most people

Can't say that I disagree.   I just wanted to add that not only can you play as all those teams you mentioned, you can even win actual national championships with them. It's really something to take Delaware (which I've done) to an undefeated season and showdown in the prestigious Banana (Orange) Bowl against Miami. The main problem with the controls is that they're so broken you either get crushed or you exploit the AI's shortcomings and dominate. I guess for the purposes of the SNES completion thread, it's a good thing I spent so much time as a kid learning the exploits, lol.

Thanks for writing. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email during this busy time of year.
In regard to your email, it is great to hear that you have found a copy of Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64. Perfect dark was a first person shooter game that was released in May of 2000. I personally enjoyed this game a lot during my mid-teen years since it allows for up to four players to play at one time. All the Perfect Dark cartridges were black.

I hope this information is what you are looking for.

Response I received from Nintendo customer support when I asked if they knew any thing about a black Perfect Dark cart.

I had a friend who got SPAF as a birthday gift. This was around 1996, so everyone refused to play it with him

Volume IV is about 50% done

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

I love this series. I can't imagine the work that's gone into even populating the list *before* writing all the details!

Curious when Ocean's first Addams Family game is going to show up... like everyone else I hate the majority of what Ocean have done, but for some reason that game ended up being one of my favourites as a kid, and even today I really enjoy playing it.

I played through the first Addams Family game a month or so ago. I really liked the NES one as a kid and was excited to play it. It's a fun game to pop in for 20 or 30 minutes but it's a pain if you're in it for the long haul. The whole no period of invincibility thing kills it at times. Probably my biggest complaint.
