Still enjoyable enough to play though regardless, the low score makes it more enjoyable without a doubt since I always try that stuff in shoot em ups messing around dodging stuff anyway.

People mention this game in "underrated" and "hidden gem" threads. I'm not sure why. Just an ok shooter imo.

The horizontal portions are not very good. And like you said the repetitive end boss, blah.

And the graphics?!! What is the guy doing in the horizontal portions. Does he have his legs crossed? And what's with the outfit?! But he can do a sweet moonwalk

Hooray for participation!

How is that the beginning of level 2? Looks like the halfway point of level 1 to me!

Yeah, the stages are somewhat long. The flame spitting dragon is just the mini-boss of stage 1. You have to defeat another boss in the horizontally scrolling section and then it's stage 2.

Seriously? Goddammit!

yeah there really isn't too much about it that is unique or makes it stand out other than the shift between perspectives but that wasn't all that crazy.

I'll never forget when i first picked this up (2012 or so). I saw "Capcom", and instantly forgot Capcom's history of releasing arcade shooters. I was expecting a unique sidescrolling experience. Not being a fan of shooters, I was so disappointed....

I was just blasting everything to stay alive long enough to get through the first level ...are the low score runs involving alot of flying around and dodging everything ??.

Tom, think you could pull off a perfect score? You'd be a god amongst men. Well, more so anyways.

Yeah that is pretty much all you will be doing. Never move in any direction and then go back to where you were when dodging lots of projectiles.

A lot of it is just your reaction though some sections are just too ridiculous and in that case I usually just stay in the same spot and focus on enemies that are directly infront of me.

As you can probably tell, low score went out the window for me pretty quickly, ha. Not good enough.

Not sure how low a score I could get on this one. Never really tried playing a shooter where you don't shoot. Interesting idea though!

Just glad to see that my old FAQ actually gets read once in a while.

Power ups. They're incredibly important. Being fully powered makes the game much easier. After the first stage if you're already fully powered then don't bother.
