I'll gladly join staff of said new site if you would like.
I use this place more for socializing than the database aspect of it, so I'll deflect to what the majority wants/needs.
Same.

Here is the thing. I have no inside information, but nothing I have seen brings me to the conclusion that NA will survive as is. How long it will last is anyone's guess, but in my opinion it's inevitable unless things change. It's just going to be a slow death by neglect. Do we want to build an alternative or not?
Agreed. I like the idea of an alternative. For the love of W3C, please making navigation much better!

I suppose to hard part would be to get a decent crowd from here, as someone mentioned prior its already a bit of a ghost town around here. On the slip side, a new place may make some people drop their previously formed notions of the community here.
I'd be on board for it, I've made many good friends here over the years and I'd follow suit. I'd be willing to help in whatever way I can, for what it's worth.
It's only a ghost town in certain forums. The brewery seems to be pretty active, as is the BST forums. Collectors Corner seems to be fairly active as well. Sure, it's not like it was a decade ago, but no forum is. Plus, let the shit posters stay here. Sometimes a smaller community is better than a larger one (hence why there were so many smaller circles of friends on here).

I didnt read all the comments so if this was mentioned I apologize. I would suggest that there was a system to mark a persons transaction history here for someone with a decent amount/alot of feedback. Just something simple like a little marker with the number of transactions with the overall percentage next too it. So say next to my username would be a (180 99.2% NA) or something similar. I havnt had a transaction since I went back to college really but when Im done and can buy again I want people to see I had a trusted reputation in the past.
I don't think this needs to be done, not in 2019. You can always refer back to here if you need to verify yourself or some such (much like how folks used to link to their GameTZ accounts back in the day). Plus, I don't think there needs to be any association to NA. What if NA disappears? That number becomes even more meaningless. Besides, plenty of high seller member became shit scammers, so the number and rep really mean nothing at the end of the day. I get what you're saying, though.
