Are there any known issues with running a capture card and submitting a score? I tried submitting one yesterday and it froze while it was getting memory. It was at 100% but then it didn't upload the score. I didn't get a chance to test it again yet.

Is your AVS on firmware 1.10 ?

Does the game upload with out using a capture card?

What capture card are you using?

Yes,yes, and it's an Elgato HD60. I'm not gonna be able to test it again until Friday or Saturday though.

Any word on a release date for an official update of the firmware? Loving the palette swaps but I'd like to have a stable Scoreboard to go along with it.

I tried both b6 and b7 and I get weird screen lockups where the game continues to play, but the screen is frozen or choppy. It seems to happen most when there is a lot of really saturated color on the screen, like the second level of Zelda 1. Different palette options fix the problem with some games, but then cause new problems in others. Version 1.10 hasn't given me any problems like this, so that's what I rolled back to.

Got ahold of support a few weeks ago and it turns out my system had a flaky HDMI port which was causing my video issues. New system just came in the mail today and works beautifully!

Will it really make a difference? The progress bars, UI, etc. still gets garbled because of differences in characters between the two OS's.

He's wanting a new feature that was added in v1.14 to support some more games for scoreboard compatibility.

Does the latest beta have the option to change the paletts? I was watching a random video on youtube and they showed theirs running v1.10 with the option to change to 3-4 different color palettes. I am on the same but dont see that option.

All of the betas have the palette options, but they're numbered 1.20, with revisions.

Is there any to remove the scroll artifacts you get other than reducing the Pixel Aspect ration to its lowest setting?

Are you talking about the shimmering effect?   I have heard that if you set the AVS to the widest setting and then use your TV to force 4:3 mode, that should get rid of the shimmer. Or at least give you a nice 4:3 setting.

Can't comment on the EverDrive portion, but I've gotten Mike Tyson to play on Powerpak and real cartridge.

Hello, I've had the AVS for a few months now, and I finally decided to update the Firmware from 1.10 to 1.20b8 and check out the different NES colour palettes.
Is there a way to keep the colour palette I selected, after a reset or power off?

I know the 1.20x Firmware are beta, and they can have bugs, but I noticed my AVS was displaying glitched graphics in the Settings screen, after I was playing with a 76-1 multi-cart for a little while. I later tried the PowerPak, and even then the Settings screen was glitching.
It eventually stopped, which made me relieved. What could've caused this glitch? Was it the multi-cart? Should I always clean the carts before placing them in the AVS? I know it's been a month or so, since I last cleaned the multi-cart.

Any tips and tricks would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Just a suggestion here. it sure would be cool to see a percentage when messing with the video options menu.

Both Mike Tysons Punchout and punchout work on my Everdrive N8. Try updating the firmware?

I had the same issues after playing with a Supervision multi-cart, so it's not just you.  I sent a bunch of information to RetroUSB support on my findings after it happened.  It must be a tricky one to fix!

Ok, thanks for the confirmation, thankfully I'm not the only one. It sure must be.

Firmware 1.20b8 breaks support with my Infinite NES Lives SNROM flash cart. I tried various games with it, FF1 and 2, Glory of Heracles 2, Sweet Home, and they all freeze or show garbled graphics soon after starting up. It works fine with 1.10 and 1.20b6.
