Shit, he is totally chubbin! Damn man, broke a mil up there! How did you do that? I'll try again tonight, but that's quite a score to beat.

Well after a good hour or two of play time I finally beat this game without loosing a life. I read Stan's posts so I made sure to take a picture after I beat the boss when it racked up my final score.

Third boss, easy, just stay at the top of the screen and keep shooting down.  The bacons will die all the time.  Main reason I didn't take my picture there is I was thinking it may in fact loop, but it doesn't.  At least I proved that bit.

Seriously, I wonder what that was actually supposed to be? I need to see the SMS ending now to see the difference, if they even use the same shot.

Here's a cool comparison video:

Man, the Game Gear version looks HORRIBLE.  Sounds terrible too.  I didn't know they basically took a different route with it.

I really don't like this game for some reason I get frustrated too easily at it, made it to the 3rd boss and of course got killed by the time running out on me.

I seem to remember that one being the longest to kill for some reason. I think I recall it's because his sweet spot appears less frequently.

Finished this with one life the other day, but only managed about 480k - this time I died almost immediately at the last boss

Might give it one more try, but honestly, I'm kinda sick of running the clock out every damn level.

My final screen shot didn't turn out very well. I got real worried pressing reset was going to mess up, thankfully it didnt.

Made a mistake in calculating the scores and left one out. The results are now current and accurate.

Yeah, tell us the secret, I'd like to know.  There has to be some sort of trick you're doing.  Something legit, but worth sick points.  When I beat it the other day (had no time for more playing) my score was only over 600K.  You guys like doubled that, which would either require something special or sitting around and point gathering.  But with the time limit point gathering seems out, so I must know!

I set a map around each level. I set who I was going to rescue first and I did it as fast as possible. With the remaining time I just racked up points until I literally had 3 seconds on the clock and walked to the exit. You get 20 seconds extra when you enter the boss room so you basically just have to go at it quick with him. The only boss I gave myself some extra time with was the 3rd boss. I gave myself an extra 20 seconds since I couldn't figure a quick way to beat him.

Ahhh, I figured that. I just went through it, assuming more time was more points.

Got to blast those pods at level 2 and 4.

I ran out of time at level four and could not blast the last, which probably explain why I finished 16,000 points short of the Mog.

Yeah that sounds about right. You get 10k for blowing each one up + what ever aliens you get while doing it.
