Haven't had the pleasure of knowing you all that well rdrunner, but you seem like a hell of a gamer. Congrats on your nomination and well done on a good interview.
I like your game choices, especially AI and America. Gladiators. I'm pretty good at those games as well😜 I also LOVE Battle Kid, my best friend and NA rival JamesRobot and myself put a ton of time into that game. Probably one of my most satisfying games to beat.

You did it short and sweet style, which really highlights something fascinating with you : the simplicity of your awesomeness! You're really made of the most rare kind of champions, those that can combine the most amazing performances with the most humble and pleasant personality. I think I can speak on the behalf of many in saying that you were one of the most positive player to brace this contest. Despite your obvious dominance, you always made everyone felt that the point was just to have fun and improve our game at the same time. You inspired countless NA players to become better gamer while being the friendliest gentleman about it. Personally, I always felt it was an honor to compete against such a champion like you, but I also realized that what missed me the most in your day to day presence in the contest was your sense of friendship and generosity, something that even the most impressive performances of yours (or anyone else) can't replace  

That was a fun interview even though trying to talk you into one more match is tougher than attempting to hogtie a unicorn.  

This has been the most enjoyable bye week ever.

Me too. All of the interviews were great and it's been a really fun week. I'm happy that I was even picked as a finalist and given an opportunity to participate.

I can see myself as a "rdrunner-lite" in that I am a skilled gamer, friendly, and generous with tips. It's just that I'm less in all three!  

Great call on Battle Kid, love those games! I specifically put a lot of time into BK2 and managed a 13-death run once. I never got near that skilled with the first and by now I'm barely average at both!

Curious to see how the announcement ceremony will go down.

Thanks everyone! Was a little worried about my interview because it was short and I had to follow Guil's novel.  

Battle Kid really is an awesome game. The second one is even better, though I dunno if I liked seeing how many thousands of times I died while plowing through it.   Sometime I need to go back and see if I can beat the games on Hard or Very Hard, but they will be tough!
