Got the Year of Luigi commemorative art book (with tote bag whose crappy sticker stuff damaged the inside back page of said art book). Oh well, still fun to flip through because Luigi.

Weekend haul from two weeks ago, just getting around to upload the photo today. A lot of Wii stuff out for sale that day, most of it crap. The Wii box sadly wasn't CIB, it was missing the controllers and games. In case anyone is wondering, the $5 gift card did have the full amount still on it. Apparently the son hadn't bothered to use his Christmas gift card yet so the mom put it out for sale hah. I spent $43 in total for the below.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

I did manage to find a few gaming things at the thrift stores today.

PS2 @2.99 each

Tales of Legendia
Tales of the Abyss
Sly 2 Band of Thieves

At my friend's used book/music store - for the PS3 (not much $ wise since I sell on consignment and can use the profits from that for trades):

Dishonored
Folklore
XCOM Enemy Unknown

And my best score - a hardback legendary edition guide for Skyrim 5 for the princely sum of $3.95. (Two idiot book scouts (examples of what my friend Derek and I call scanutards after their little electronic devices that they can't live without) had passed on this - heh - their ignorance was my gain.)

"When I come home from a long day in Hell, there's nothing I'd rather reach for than a fire-brewed bottle of Styx Beer. Made from the filthiest waters from our own River Styx. Styx Beer is a third more toxic than any other regular beer. The worst beer - the filthiest beer - the deadliest beer. It's Styx Beer!"

NES stuff is CB, Psychic Detective is CIB
I've seen that psychic detective is supposed to be pretty damn rare, so i guess that's ones good.

Finally got Arcana after trading a Star Ocean Second Evolution guide for it. I'm now looking for a box for it so Arcana can be my 4th CIB pre-GameCube HAL game (with HyperZone, Smash 64 JPN, and Alcahest). Also need to scare up a Kirby's Dream Land box and Air Fortress manual to bring that to 6.

The SNES/Genesis component cables I backed through the HD Retrovision Kickstarter are finally in my hands. I've been eagerly awaiting these cables for since the Kickstarter was funded back in December '14. I will need to try them out tonight and write up a review.

I have been wanting a spare one to tinker with. You know, test different things on them etc.

Holy cow, that's a lot of NES decks!

I picked up Kirby Super Star (Japanese version) and a Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack CD for $11 after using my loyalty coupon at one of the Owensboro Book & Music Exchanges. KSS doesn't work in my Retron 5, so I've got to figure out if it's a firmware issue, a more thorough cleaning is needed, or the R-5 just hates late SNES games.

Yeah all together.  I think I am going to clean them all, do a couple of the blinking light wins, and maybe a copy NES if I can get my hands on it.  If any of them are un repairable, I have some REALLY cool ideas.
