...well, the game just arrived, and not only is there a note written to me inside, but the "cart" turned out to be CIB.  He did this, because that's the sort of guy he is.  I don't even want to know what this sort of thing runs for, and I'm not gonna look it up.  Now I think I have at least two "pay it forwards" that need to happen.

So cool. That’s a tough one to find even loose. sadikyo is one of the most thoughtful members here. Always level headed and patient and often takes it upon himself to be a peacekeeper. Great dude.

BouncekDeLemos made an awesome design for a poster I have up to advertise my breakfast sandwiches! I've had a few people come in asking for that Philly in the picture! In case anyone was wondering on that, I'm up to a 45 a day average, and the past 2 days I broke 50 consecutively for the first time. Thanks, guy!

Well dragoon back in 2013 got me new copies of Final Fantasy Origins/Chronicles/Anthology on PS1 to help me get started on my put off way too long RPG journey.   And now I'm working on the GBA versions so I can do their new superboss dungeons

I should also give a shout-out to ap123 who sent me NBA Jam, Foochie who sent me NBA Give n Go, Kemp who sent me Outlander, and a certain Jolly fellow who sent me a half a dozen games.  I don't mean I bought games from them either.  All four guys came to me, wanting to send games, and never asked for a thing.

he hasn't logged in a couple years, but j_bravo31 sent me a nintendo rf adapter after I laughably made a thread in Collectors Corner about my rf adapter stopped working   That was my first post here
Most people mocked me but he was nice enough to get my address and send one out to me

Mr. Wunderful sent me an NES Advantage lamp years ago. It worked fantastic as my main living room lamp for years until it stopped working one day a few months ago. Just yesterday I noticed the message on the lamps bottom side from him as I was thinking about what to do with it.

suicidal_parrot also sent me a bunch of stuff over the years (Kings Quest sealed PC game, I think it's 5, and most recently a few weeks ago he hooked me up with a Sega Everdrive).

Lots of amazing folks in this community.

When I was making repros 90% of my customers were NAers and everyone seemed very pleased with my work at the time. Captmorgan was always on the lookout for repro donors for me which saved me a ton of time and work.  Thanks again dude   I got the rare opportunity to step in and fulfill an order for a fellow NAer when another maker dropped the ball. This site has always been good to me so it feels good to give back when I can!

Lots of people has helped me numerous times here. The two that come to mind are puppywaffles and sadikyo. Puppy had found out I was bidding against him on an ebay auction for a yoshi topsy turvy display and he had beat me. He later sent me one in the mail, its one of my favorite things and its definitely one of the cooler things I have at this point. Sadikyo also has helped me out by finding rare games and demos for me. He also sent me so arcade marquees because I collect them.

There are other things that I am forgetting, but these are the two ones that stand out immediately to me.

I could probably type pages full of the incredible things that have been done for me by friends from NA.

In 2015 when my place was busted into, people here took up a collection and a member met up with me and surprised me with a DVD case full of cash to help me replace what was gone.

Deniz knew I was missing Panic Restaurant and he and several members chipped in and gave it to me to finish my NES set last summer. He's also sold me countless NES boxes I was looking for way too cheaply.

Back when I was missing around 12 games, Nick Ross had an extra copy of one and sent it to me just because I was looking for it. A few weeks later he sent the box and manual.

So many others have given me great deals or just flat out given me stuff. KThrower, Paul, captainwarmonger, acidjaguar, quack, k3vbot, limbofunk, Pats, burdger and the list goes on and on.

9ish years ago I was in a really bad place, seriously considering just ending it all. A member here opened his home to me, let me come and stay with him for a couple weeks, and just really helped me make my way out of it.

Believe it or not, I could go on, but I think that's enough for the time being. Glad this got necrobumped, nice to have a spot to show some appreciation.

Several years back I had sent a message to the Nolans inquiring about the cost of a few protos they had, which were of games developed locally here in Taiwan (I.e. later published in the USA by AVE). I was in no situation to be able to purchase all the carts, but it was more of an inquiry, hoping to work out a deal in installments or something. Next thing I know, I received a message asking for my address and the three carts were sent to me gratis. One of them even had some major changes that I had noticed. It was at this point that I really tried to open up my heart and be overly generous when selling or trading or during secret Santa on here, to try to pass this one forward to the next person. I was honestly stunned and still am to this day, tbh.

On a different occasion, I received a message from mega tank iirc. He sent me some Mario kart toys and a few other goodies , for me to use in the classroom when I teach. For some odd reason, the children I teach all prefer playing with my toys than the ones the school has... It feels so normal to me though, as a child I would have loved for my teacher to have Mario action figures to play with, why not make some other child's dream come true?
