Ugh, this isnt nearly as enjoyable as TMNT II was. Its so tedious and sleep inducing. I was playing Turtles during my night shifts and it actually helped me stay alert. The repetative point farming is lulling me to sleep during my shifts this week though.

Same here. I'll spend a half hour point trying to rack points only to get knocked into a pit and have to start completely over. It's getting really frustrating. I'm about ready just to ride out the score that I've got and hope it holds up.

I'm not going to say much because I don't want to sound too negative, but I will say that these statements sum up my thoughts on the whole platforming genre in general.  Fun games, but not really fun for competition.

This is what I call a 1 in 100 game. It may take me 100 tries to get that 1 good run, but it makes all of the frustration worthwhile when it finally happens. This game is more cheap than actually difficult, but the more it gets on my nerves, the more it makes me want to push for that one good run. It's also win or go home time, so if it's my week to go home, I'm going down swinging for the fences.

I hoped that Double Dragon wouldn't get eliminated even though we already played a beat 'em up, but I'd better worry more about making it to the final round than what the next game is.

Lots of pits + lots of enemies near most pits + Ryu flying back 900 yards after taking a hit and usually failing in a pit = frustrating.

I LOVED the insert on ninjas in that strategy guide. I got some cloth and followed the ninja mask instructions

I just figured that you start shaking the controller cord and screaming at the TV before every boss fight.

I finally got to the same spot this afternoon. My point racking skills must be lacking. I tried in every spot that I thought was good, but it didn't make nearly as much of a difference in my score as I thought it would.

Galaga was my favorite arcade game as a kid. I was pulling for it after Double Dragon got eliminated yesterday. Oh well, hopefully Yoshi's Cookie gets booted sooner than later.

If Galaga would have been the game for the finals.....assuming I make to the finals.....you guys would have had a real tough fight on your hands. Anyway I should have an NG 2 score posted sometime today.

If I had to guess, SMB will probably get eliminated since we are playing an action/platformer already. I suppose that I'll have to pull for Blades of Steel now, although I still have a suspicion that the list is just to throw us off and the final game will end up being something totally different.

Agreed. And we already played Ice Hockey,so Blades of Steel is probably gone. For a sports game,I'd say go RBI Baseball. Playing that game would be a blast.
