I forgot I even had this game until last night so I guess it's a little late to start practicing. It looks like there are some really good scores, so I doubt I would have had much of a chance.

Dang, ALMOST a complete game.  Died on the very last ship on the final level.

Missed 100% on two levels (Missions 9 and 14), otherwise I could have had 3 million.  Oh well.  It was fun trying!

I only made it to the first boss, but I guess that's not too bad since I've never played the game before. I'll try to give it another go and see if I can get a respectable score in the next hour before the contest is up.

Well, my goal was to beat my score listed on the TG scoreboard, and was able to do that Friday evening. Final score after the 50k bonus.  3,131,400 + 50,000  completion bonus for level 24 = 3,181,400

If it weren't for this contest, I don't think I would have ever played 1943, so thanks again for making it fun for me!

I think just over 3.2 is possible, so maybe in the next couple of weeks, I will work on doing that, but I haven't played since Friday.

It's because of the overall contest format this year.  A few of us have qualified for a tournament at the end of the year, which can be done by scoring the most ranking points during a block of 6 weekly contests.  Those players cannot affect the results of the weekly contests, as they are designed to search for our next qualifier.  You could be next!

So I was digging around looking for stuff and I have an extra normal cart, with a label tear in the bottom left. Probably got it in a lot.

I am super slow and behind at getting around to selling duplicates, and will be running to the post office tomorrow anyway.

First person that was playing along with an emulator, that doesn't own the cart, to PM me get it's free. I will pick up shipping also.

Open to all people, but I will prioritize to anyone that actually submitted a score this week, first come first serve.

I would personally enjoy MORE people participating. Then we would get some super challenges going, maybe some live streams, speed challenges, etc.
