Never finished this game. Many years ago I played all the way up to round 65, but got distracted and never got back to it. I don't know, or should I say, remember the game very well since that was about the only time I ever played it, but look forward to trying it out again.

Yep, it's a factory sealed game for the winner, if you can beat me. I've never played this game and always wanted to be forced to do so. So, here it goes. Good luck everyone.

I figure we do it the same way the others have been, get as far as you can into the game without using a continue, starting from the beginning, then post your score. Just tried it out, sampling the game, it don't stay on the game over screen but for an instant, and you can't pause it at this time either, also the only score it keeps record of is the top score, hmm, going to be hard to make record of this. Any ideas? I guess I'd just reset it every game, that should solve the problem, shouldn't be a problem beating the default score every time, its only 26.000, looks like the title screen after losing all your lives is the best place to take that pic, unless you're really fast and snap a pic just as you lose your last life.

Not sure, I'd think highest score like the other contests, but can the score vary enough from stage to stage? I don't know the game well enough, only played it that one time, never finished it. Need someone in here that knows the game better to say what would be more appropriate for us to go after, score or round?

Perhaps whoever gets the furthest with the highest score?

Ouch, the select button starts the game over again, done it to myself twice accidentally already, that was a bad idea for a shortcut reset. I'm not feeling this game, I may try a little bit, but don't think I'm going to put my all into it. That whole select button reset thing already done pissed me off, got to round 20 something and lost it all, don't want that to happen if I get even farther into it than that, I'd really be upset then.

Testing out a few more things, got stuck on top of an oil drum with higher ground on both sides of me, no way out, and the fireball couldn't reach me to kill me, had to reset. Another, allowed an oil drum to fall on me, another 1 mess up and you lose trap, can't get out, can't get killed. Looked at instruction manual, yep, no way except to hit reset or select. Sitting here tapping my fingernails against the keyboard keys thinking...think I'm going to sit this one out, puzzle games haven't ever really been my thing anyway, not enough room for error, too many ways to get stuck.

Yeah, that's been happening to me too. I may need to open a controller and temporarily remove the gasket on select if I'm going to try for this at all.

I'm expecting nothing less than a sealed Wrecking Crew as the winning prize.

Hey i like this game! I'll start this one off... 111,700 - First 6 figure score i got...figured that was significant enough...

There's no way you can snap that final score screen that lasts for like a second. I'm thinkin' high score on this one, but Tusky rules/his call. LMK if this is acceptable or not...

So what exactly is the plan here? Furthest? Highest Score? Both? I'm not exactly clear on it, but I intend to play for this one.

I know it's not furthest b/c u can pick ur lvl from the title screen...

Probably highest score makes the most sense.

No thing is the actual "final score" screen just lasts for a millisecond. Need to know if the "high score" will be acceptable in this case like my first pic...?

hmm... no game or rom for this one... btw tusk are roms allowed on this one since it seems like this is more your contest this week (I know the other threads results, but since this is tusks contest I just want to verify)
