Hey fellas (and lady fellas),
Bit of an odd situation, but I thought someone around here might be interested. Basically, earlier in the year I was in discussion with the owner of a well known game valuing site that a few of you around here may have heard of. He wanted some original writing for his site, and I drafted a couple of sample articles to see how he'd like them. He did like them, very much, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the opportunity to publish on his site has now closed.
I have two articles basically ready to go: Top ten loose NES values and Top ten loose SNES values. Now, you may be thinking "oh great, click bait top ten article, PASS!", but I assure you these are substantial bodies of work, over 4,000 words apiece, written in a semi-formal style and well researched.
Obviously, the focus of the articles are stories of the history of each game as a collectable, as well as value fluctuation over time. Of course, sometimes this story needs more of a description of the game itself or it's development and release, other times it is more of a look at the history of the game within the collecting community.
So, what am I asking here? Well, I have two articles I poured tens of hours of time into, pages and pages of thorough research, about a subject matter that is quite volatile and could quickly make the content of each article redundant if values change too much. I want a home for these two articles, at least, so that I can share my work with people who are interested! It would be a shame if like me and two other people ever read them!
Anyone who wants to host these on their site, can think of a site that might be interested in hosting them, or even if someone might be interested in not only these two but perhaps continuing the series of articles with me, please let me know!
And, yeah, not just gonna post them on NA because I can already see the TL R replies in my head, lol!
