I have noticed that there are a lot of guides and lists on various parts of this site and a lot of them seem to dissapear pretty quickly because they are in the same forums as regular discussion threads which get bumped a lot more.
A lot of these threads I never knew existed until somebody mentions them.

I think it would be neat to have a separate forum which is like a collection of all comprehensive guides and lists so people can easily find them.

I was imagining that it would be a locked forum in the sense that nobody can create a new topic in the forum (but people can still reply to existing threads in the forum ofc)
In order to create a guide/list to this new forum, you first create your guide/list thread in the Collector's Corner forum or somewhere else, and if maybe 50 or 100 people from the community vote the thread to be good and comprehensive and serious, then it will be moved to this other forum.
That way we make sure that only quality guides/lists that are taken serious will exist in this forum and it won't be cluttered.

Of course this is just my suggestion for how it could work. There can be many other ways to do this.

Interesting idea. I would love a section to get tips and hints.

Sort of reminds me of gamefaqs though.

I like the idea, maybe a whole section dedicated to the stickied threads from collectors corner because like half of the first page is stickied might as well give them their own section

Eh, not sure if this would warrant an extra subforum. I would propose creating a master Sticky in the "Help" area, that links to all other stickies / lists / guides / etc.

Whats wrong with a NA wiki? Sticky threads seem to get out of date/need updating pretty fast and only one person can do that. Also I think it would be a bit easier to search a wiki for things like "how to clean a NES cart" and find all the info you need in one spot, rather then searching the forums and finding 100s of  topics with thousands of off topic posts just to find out Weimans + alcohol is the best.
