Just a quick update for you fine folks. I have a poll up to see what everyone finds to be a fair price for NES reproductions. Please head on over here and give me you honest opinion.

Thanks!

Cart only, budget repros sound cool to me, I'll watch for your offerings

I love shmups too!  How about Recca, Over Horizon, and Galaxian?  Did you have anything specific in mind?  I'm more than willing to do custom commisions too if you're looking for homebrew or hacks too.

Would it be possible to slightly bold the "D" "B" and "G" in "Double-Barreled Games?" Also, hyphen please.

You sir are a true American hero. I think this will have to go on all of my future labels. *Does that mean my current batch with my "prototype" logo will become collectors items in 30 years? hmmm...*

Now all I have to do is get this to my artwork guy and then work this into a business card as well.

Keep up the great work as always, Brian! That logo would look sweet on the carts!

What do you say BDL, think you can swap out the old logo for the new one? Maybe restore the Nintendo Seal and stamp this one next to it?

Where do you buy your donors from and roughly how many $/per cart are you paying? I hate living where I live because it's A) Expensive to buy them and B) Hard to find in bulk. I can understand if you'll hold out on giving away this info though in case I steal your donors .

I don't have a "source" so to speak.  I hunt ebay lots and online stores until I find a good deal, though shipping would probably kill it in your case.

I see. Yeah, shipping would kill it for me. I'm on to about 12 carts at the minute (although 3 are auctions that don't end for 3/4 days) and I'm paying the equivelent of around $8 per game which seems like loads seeing how you lot in the US can get them for a couple of dollars . Most of them are Shadowgates so a lot of Earthbound are going to be made! NES Open Golf carts seem to be going for $10+ which is annoying, Sweet Home is easier to make than EB0 but demands a similar price. I guess the fact the EPROMs only cost me ~$1 per chip is good though.

Yeah, we have it better than the UK for video games (not that that is new), but the Japanese have got it better than us.  Famicom carts go for almost nothing over there as they are so common.  Unfortunately shipping them over here gets kinda pricey.

Looking good so far, Dan! I'm loving how the labels turned out!

As for me, my health is back for the most part, I just gotta watch what I eat. So hopefully more awesome repros coming up folks!

Glad to see you're still alive and well DBL! I think I'll be ready to open up shop as soon as my new (and hopefully improved) desoldering iron arrives. Look forward to that announcement and grand opening sale in the next few days!
