Oh no, SoCal is probably as terrible if not worse. You don't find shit deals down here. Way too many people "collecting" games.
Isn't Pat the NES Punk, Retro Hungry, Big Game Hunter, and a dozen other high profile collectors in SoCal? Despite there being a million collectors, and proving your point correct, I still continously see posts of them finding Panzer Dragoon Sagas, CIB Earthbounds, CIB consoles, and so much more, for cheap.
I lost the list but I had a small list of about 6 people on youtube who lived somewhere in socal who and are not well known collectors (like the three I mentioned above) and yet were still finding rare and expensive games every other week for chump change. I know there are a dozen people who post awesome things in finders keepers and live in socal as well. Not as often do you see epic finds from people in the bay area.
Everyone says their location sucks. I do too. Except I have never found anything rare or worth more than $50, except for a manual, but that was 200+ miles north of where I normally hunt, and for a year I spent 40-80 hours a week hunting. So I'm pretty sure the bay area is worse.
