I dont want to derail your thread, but what exactly makes NFR carts so special? I have no knowledge about them other than they're not common.
Most NFRs were made to display current and upcoming game titles in store kiosks. Some were given out during special events like E3 or store promotions amongst employees. You also had others that were used for Distribution Events like Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Dragon Quest, Nintendo Zone, and Nintendogs. Some of these carts are full retail versions, some only have a few levels, or even timed game play. So what makes them special is like you said they are uncommon all the way to impossible to find.
