Anyone know whats different with the SL2rom pcb compared to the SLrom pcb?

what game/post pics?

iirc the chr pinout uses the usual nintendo prg pinout. if your chr is over 128K it'll take extra work to install.

Interessting thanks guys!

So for the chr its just solder down as is for a 27c010, and for the prg (also 27c010) i need to ground pin 24 and route pin 2 to the hole under pin 24?

Exactly. CHR uses standard JEDEC pinout and can be swapped out one to one.
For PRG lift pin 1,2,24,30,31

This is for 27c010:
Pin 1 is VPP and should be tied to GND imo.
Pin 2 is connected to hole 24 (A16)
Pin 24 is connected to GND
Pin 30 is NC
Pin 31 is P (should be connected according to datasheet). GND should be fine.
I had cases where when I left P floating the EPROM wouldn't work. So make sure you read the datasheet for it.
