The Pens should be able to knock out Ottawa no problem, though I'm a little concerned about Washington and New Jersey, as the Penguins are a combined 0-10 this season against those two teams. I just hope Malkin stays in top shape, they had a rough couple weeks when him and Gonchar were missing most games (especially on power play).

It should be pretty exciting, I can't wait.

I'll be rootin for the Blackhawks, and the Canadian teams when they don't play the hawks. Go Montreal!!! I'll take Boston over Buffalo for no good reason.

I don't watch hockey, but since the Caps are the home team, I'm obligated to root for them. Hopefully they make it farther than last year.

Washington vs Montreal: Halak will be the only thing keeping the Habs going in this series, which won't be enough versus the Goaltron 9000 even if Theo sucks and Varmy lost the magic. Caps sweep.

New Jersey vs Philadelphia: Brodeur won't choke yet. Kovalchuk will take this opportunity to get himself an even juicier contract if he doesn't jump ship to the KHL. The goaltending problems the Flyers have had all season will do them in. Devils in 6.

Buffalo vs Boston: By far the hardest to call, if Raask holds up, then the Bruins will edge it out. Bruins in 7.

Pittsburgh vs Ottawa: There is absolutely no chance Ottawa will get past the Pens. Bettman must be rubbing his hooves together at the prospects of another Ovie vs. Cindy playoffs matchup. Pens sweep.

WEST
San Jose vs Colorado: Colorado lost the fire which made them amazing earlier in the season. Without it, the Sharks will anally rape them. Anderson can only do so much as we've already seen. Sharks in 5.

Chicago vs Nashville - Even if Rinne stands on his head, there is too much firepower for the Preds to make too much of a dent. See also: Caps vs. Habs. I'll give a game to the Preds based on Niemi being hit or miss at times. Hawks in 5.

Vancouver vs Los Angeles: Here's the upset. Look for the young Kings to score at will on Bobby Lu, who in typical Luongo fashion, will be inconsistent and it'll cost the Canucks. Kings in 6.

Phoenix vs Detroit: Tough call, but Detroit has Jimmy Howard and Osgood as backup, who is a master of clutch playoff goaltending. Even with a few losses, it'll be too much for the Yotes to overcome. Wings in 5.

Finals will be Devils vs. Hawks, as the Pens upset the Caps and the Devils upset the Pens.

I've been a fan since the early 90s with Lemieux so I'm not on the bandwagon, I'm actually a fan . Last year was probably the most excited I've been in a long long time and I'm hoping for a repeat. However, the caps are gonna be a tough rival and I'm expecting that to be a really good series.

P.S. Sid has really stepped it up a notch this year with scoring first, passing second. If their defense can keep their heads in the game, the Pens will be the toughest team out there in my opinion.

Watching Habs Vs Caps via Espn game cast. Man I a must be a sports junkie or something...

I'm still trying to figure out why someone from Texas is cheering for the Canucks. I mean, I'm a fan of every Canadian team, but it's strange enough that a Texan is a hockey fan. Let alone a Canucks fan!
