i ran across these 2 products today... http://www.wiisingonline.com/productsview.php?proid=465&...  and http://www.wiisingonline.com/productsview.php?proid=465&...

has anyone seen or  used something like it before?...think there would be compatibility issues with using SD cards inplace of a normal memory card?....

The SD adapter doesn't function as a memory card. What it DOES let you do is load any homebrew Gamecube program you like, without having to use a Broadband Adpater+Phantasy Star Online, or mod your Gamecube. They are very cheap as it stands, but you obviously need an SD card, and you need a version of the Gamecube Action Replay cheat program that lets you enter your own codes, so that could cost a bit more. But trust me, it is worth it. You can run emulators, backups, and other neat homebrew. I have an SD adapter, and while the GC homebrew scene is small, there is still some really cool stuff to be found.
