Yup!  Board name would give it away too easy....

Something plugs into the top .

Sorry that's not a networking port, just a JTAG interface for programming the CPLD.

Does that thing use mmc5?

Nope, that would be even more expensive!

I think its the newest version of the PowerPak

PowerPak is already amazing as is, no new version needed! That board also has no mem card slot.

God, if that's a game, it's going to be epic, seeing how many chips are on that board!

Well it seems at least 2 of them are level converters. So you can cross those off (they "translate" 5v logic to 3v andn back)

Theres 8 "chips" on there -2 which I suspect are level converter = 6 chips. The fpga chip probably does most of the work (if its an fpga) and two of those seem like they could be ram.

lol that's exactly what I thought of when i saw this. i doubt it's that game though but boy would it be cool.

I'd settle for New Kids On The Block or Married With Children (or Campus Challenge)

I don't think people would "poop eggrolls" over Buzz and Waldog. You can already get repros of it, and it doesn't have too much hype at the moment anyway. Police Academy would rule.

Wasn't Campus Challenge SNES? I didn't think this was regular NES. If it is, that would have been my first guess, with how complex that board is.

Wait...

Read the last sentence...it's gotta be the Campus Challenge!

-------------------------
"Absurdity is what I like most in life, and there's humor in struggling in ignorance. If you saw a man repeatedly running into a wall until he was a bloody pulp, after a while it would make you laugh because it becomes absurd".

There were two different campus carts for NES also, if I remember correct.
