Just finished this. Holy cow man, pretty dang good. What is this, $35 for cart and manual?! If you haven't bought the game yet, it's definitely worth it. Great graphics, great combat, just the right difficulty. I honestly did not think I'd like the game before I bought it. Gave it a shot anyways and I'm glad I did. Ended up loving it.

Hands down my favorite homebrew so far. If you're into top-down rpg-ish/adventure kind of games, you ought to check it out!

I don't know why, but something about Tyto's Unlock tech is immensely satisfying. I'll never get tired of watching him clear that path for you.

Man with all these good reviews and responses I might have to give this a go! I'm not by any means an RPG guy but damn this game is cute. The demo was mesmerizing! Good job I can't believe how great these homebrews are coming out. Keep up the good work guys!

I finished this too and it was really, really good. It's up there with Battle Kid in terms of homebrew games that would've been hits (or maybe HIDDEN GEMS) if they came out in the 90s. It doesn't feel homebrew-y at all which you can take however you want, but it feels like it belongs next to Zelda and Metroid more than Cornball Cocksuckers and Commie Killer (as much as I enjoy all of those!).

I played the demo a couple days ago and I really loved it. One thing that stood out was the music which was really good and catchy.

Will buy the cart real soon.

Wow! This means a ton to me coming from the creator of Super Bat Puncher! Thanks   And thanks nesplay, mattbep, DefaultGen, and others for your kind remarks. Tell all your friends about Owlia!

We'll be at Long Island Retro in NY August 13th! Come stop by the homebrew booth, we'll be there with SoleGooseProductions and 2nd Dimension.

Can anyone who ordered from infiniteneslives confirm how the shipping usually goes? I ordered on Saturday morning, standard shipping. .. I'm just wondering how much time it has taken for most folks and also whether or not they recieved any shipping notification or tracking before the package arrived.

I know with homebrews I've ordered for other consoles there was a long delay for the vendor to actually assemble the game cartridges, one after another in line with all the other orders recieved, and all of this done in spare time as a hobby.

In the past it has taken anywhere from a few days to a little over a week before I get my tracking number

I got Owlia pretty quick, but I do live only a couple of states away. I'm assuming these are probably made to order. He was still a lot faster than Pico Interactive with their NES game.

So I probably will get a shipping notice before the package arrives and I probably will experience a bit of a delay because the vendor has been on vacation. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for putting so much time and work into this GradualGames, and for making the game available for everyone. It looks like an inspired production, sentimental and progressive at the same time, with unique and also solid physics - exactly what I'm looking for in homebrew video games!

Haha good luck with that one. I thought I had ideas of how to get it to work based on previous clues, but ended up getting it by accident. Meant to take a screenshot for future playthroughs, but forgot out of excitement. Dang.

Just got my shipping notice today. Super stoked to play the game. The demo was great. Looking forward to seeing how it looks on my new AVS when they both come in!
