Ok guys, I have a somewhat beat-up box for a Black GameCube. It has a single strip of packing tape running over one end over the closure tab, all the way to the back of the box. On the other side, the flap that opens is about 66% torn off. The inside cardboard "holders" are a little bent up but not awful. Also, one corner is also crushed and there is significant tearing on the bottom of the box. There is also a "30- no controller" written on the front of the box in what looks like gold paint from a paint pen. So, yeah, this box isn't going to be winning any beauty pageants any time soon but nothing on the outside is torn off and with a bit of TLC and strategic-shelf-positioning, it might not look that bad on a shelf.
Anyway, I'm getting tired of it taking up shelf space but at the same time, I can't bring myself to toss it. I'm not sure if anyone wants to pay for an empty box to be shipped, but so long as anyone's willing to pay for shipping, it's yours. Throw in a couple of dollars tip (also please send all payments as a friend because I can't pay to ship this) then I'll take the time to use my heat gun to slowly peel off the 12-14" of tape that was wrapped around this thing. I've been removing labels and tape from games for a while so I have the patience to do it about as well as one can. I'm not looking to make money on it, but the few buck will just make it worth the effort. Otherwise, if you'd like for me to flatten it, I'll cut the tape on the back tab and open the box and see if I can easily flatten it without further damaging the box. With a little TLC (maybe careful taping or sharpie coloring) you might be able to make this thing look decent but, yeah... that's just not my style.
