I've heard of this before but didn't know an nes release was planned. Man, it would be cool to get this on a cartridge.

I got really excited there for a second and though that maybe it was a Konami-made Contra style port of the awesome Aliens arcade game.

I still get panic-attacks if I see female genitalia close-up.

That might be the game that forces me into getting an arcade cabinet. I used to love that thing as a kid and the side of the cab scared the shit out of me when I was young. It still did little to keep me away from the sheer awesomness of that arcade machine.

I would say maybe this could've been put on a repro cart but then again, seems kinda sticky since it was originally for a famicom disc system. Who knows? I still really want to play it, just look at my avatar for Christ sakes.

The arcade version was definitely one of my childhood favorites.

This looks like it COULD have become a nice approximation of it if they could have increased the intensity of the onslaught to Contra proportions, and fixed the level design.

I noticed that thread too, but it's honestly better suited for this forum than the brewery.

As for the game, it's a very cool find.  It's a watered-down version of the MSX title of the same name, but cool none the less.

I really wish I had the ability to search Yahoo Japan.  Between this the Zelda prototype, and Bio Force Ape, I feel like I'm really missing out.

I agree, I posted it and then realized after. It never got too much attention so I left it.
